We recently used the 4-compartment take out containers (with lids) and it was a wonderful experience! The food looked so presentable and colorful in these (see pics) and the lids were useful for carry out. We used a single rubber band to secure them tightly. This type of box is perfect for a bento box style pack or an Indian thaali where u have lot of little accompaniments. Would definitely order again.Also love that they are eco friendly!

It’s a great quality container: very sturdy and close securely, environmentally friendly. One thing to keep in mind is that they are shallower than usual containers. They would work great for rice and pasta, but not if you’d like to add roasted chicken on top of your food

They are very sturdy, they hold a great amount of food , i have no problem buying more . I have packed good sized, msn suze meals and carried them several miles with no leaks or spillage. They warm great also.

This take-out container worked perfectly for the upscale Hoppin John, Local Greens Salad we created. The various compartments allowed a perfect fit for our spinach turnovers and also the sweet tea pickled eggs and chow chow. The lid fits snugly and tight and we were able to stack it for packing. Think World Green with this compostable product.DT

NOTE: These are made in China, and the only material they mention that this is made from is "Kraft Paper." I don't know what the inside coating is that makes it water-resistant, and they don't say what other materials went into their processing. This concerns me.==== REVIEW ====In anticipation of all the different delicious foods we would be enjoying over the holidays, I ordered a variety of portable eco-friendly containers to both hand food out and bring home leftovers. Rather than the usual plastic containers & baggies, I strove to switch over to more planet-friendly containers. What a perfect time to put these things to the test!These lightweight paper clamshell containers are fairly sturdy and work well to temporarily hold a variety of foods and sauces. They didn't sag with hot, juicy foods. The interior of the box is smooth, appears to have a coating of some kind. The exterior of the boxes are textured and more porous, so you shouldn't let the box sit in liquid or get wet. They did get softer and lose some shape overnight in the fridge, but I expected that to happen with paper boxes, and it wasn't a problem; they still microwaved well the next day.The two most important things I was looking for were (1) Biodegradability (no plastics/styrofoam), and (2) Microwaveability. These seem to fit both of those requirements well, although I'm not sure what all they're made from. I just have to trust that they aren't made with any harmful materials.While firm, these are not heavy-duty boxes. It's a bit of a challenge to get these for regular home use as they are bulky and priced higher than normal household items. But they are useful for big holidays and special occasions, in conjunction with a complement of sealable leak-proof eco-friendly microwaveable containers for things like hot soups & drinks.Since I'm wary of the product's materials, I wasn't sure if I should give these 3 stars or 4. However, they do function well and I tested them thoroughly, so I will give them 4 at this point. Hopefully they will update their page to include more details on their manufacturing materials.

We used these for a baseball team's picnic dinner. Easy to stack and transport (though wish the lids clicked on), perfect portions of each of the four compartments, and they held up well - nothing leaked through in the two hours they were pre-filled. Happy to have a stack left over for future use and would order again!

While it is nice to have partitions separating the food, the lids do not stay on so all the food can fall out unless the container is held perfectly level while holding on to the Iid and container. . It makes them rather useless as a “take out” food container.

Going outdoors on a beautiful sunny day for a picnic is great but when my wife is not feeling well she hasthe answer. With a top notch three or four serving componentOn-The-Go containers with lids is the only choice. Eat, enjoy and throw away. No cleaning this time. As our daughter says loudly, I will do the dishes mom.
