if Simply Marvellous Magnetic Spectacles

I absolutely love these spectacles! I've added a chain to wear them around my neck. The glasses work perfectly. Not one complaint.

The magnets aren't strong enough, everyone says so and so do I. I tried on a highly magnetized bar I have and the glasses still didn't magnetize to it. So there is no way they work to put on a fridge. Which is a bit of a bummer. I, have other magnets I use all the time and will try gluing a better magnet to see if it works.These are only for close up. I had hoped I could use them to see the small words on the tv screen from around 5 feet away, doesn't work at all.As for the strength of the glasses, not really strong enough to be helpful. And I don't have bad eye sight. My husband always needs readers at 1.5 and they don't work for him at ll. I don't even need readers but can still struggle with some of the teeny tiny lettering some packages have. A real magnifying glass is a bit too strong for me. So I had hoped this would be better.I think these are probably just best used as a prop. They are cute

I have these on my fridge and use them all the time to read tiny-print package instructions, etc. The "glasses" (magnifiers) slide a little bit down on the fridge from time to time because the magnets are not that strong. Haven't fallen off yet, but I'd prefer a firmer hold. A great idea and aesthetic, though, and still quite useful.

These glasses are really cool but the packaging was difficult to remove. Lens got scratched because the plastic tie at the bridge was too tight to get off. Very disappointed.

These are cute, but sadly the actual lenses/magnification poor quality. And the magnets are not strong enough to really hold them up. The whole point of buying was for the magnetic function for fridge! Disappointed. Both versions of these glasses.
