this thing is pricey, but man does it add a great texture to your sound. I use it on my guitar with the 'cassette tape' saturation always on, and it adds a great gooey analog tape blanket saturation to my tone that is awesome. It has an amazing double tracker function as well, for some slap back delay or thickening up your tone. it's expensive, but worth it in my opinion... and it's an "always-on" pedal for me

Great pedal, but, come on Strymon $375 is TOO MUCH!

I really love the sound of the new version of the Strymon Deco pedal. I compared it to the old version, and the new one is, for me, much better. I love the tape saturation sound, and the new model includes a "cassette" setting that is especially nice. The tape doubling effects are also really nice and allow for a lot of variety, from subtle thickening to delay.

It really just fattens and thickens your tone. It’s a permanent fixture on my board now.

It does so many things, and does them well. Can be at the front of your chain, or the end. Also a great mastering tool.
