I developed plantar fasciitis recently (did a 5K on concrete with old running shoes) and it feels like my heel has a really super tender bruise on it. Walking on the affected heel is so painful, and is made worse after long periods of being on my feet, or walking on uneven terrain. I'm also an ecologist, and needed to be able to walk for long periods on uneven terrain. My Physician Assistant husband got me these, and they really really helped! I still had some heel pain at the end of the day, but only at the end of a long day, and I was able to get through the day. I only wish they had a way to incorporate these into sandals!!

The outside of my knee was hurting so I wear these with the high side on the outside and the ache in my knee disappeared! It doesn't raise my heel too high for my shoe. It is comfortable to wear.

I purchased these thinking they provide additional cushion while playing tennis. Well, they are terrible. I've found cheaper ones that work better, and since I play on clay, the clay is stuck to them, and I have to remove them after every use to clean the clay off—a lousy purchase.

I just love these inserts. My doctor recommended this brand to me. As for the price, it was so much cheaper than getting it from my doctor. Wearing these reduced the pain I was having in my foot. Yes this is a great product.
