I bought this card because I liked the idea of being an early adopted of *new"technologies. In my mind, a digital business card is new tech when everyone around me is still using traditional business cards. It's also convenient and impressive to whip out a digital card with a QR code at networking events. This type of card makes you standout from the crowd. But, hold up! There's a catch to this card that actually makes it a bad purchase when you add up the cost to use and maintain it..The card itself is inexpensive; it's about the same as buying a traditional box of business cards during a promo event. However, the costs to use the popl card escalate after you've used the card to capture more than a handful of contacts. The popl software floods your contact list with individuals from inside its company (i.e. COO, CEO, VP, etc.). Then the user suddenly gets a message that in order to see more of your contacts, you must pay a monthly or annual fee. When you total up the charges for popl, they FAR exceed what you can spend just buying a regular box of cards and using a free online CRM application. The losses are huge when you calculate continuing a popl account across multiple years. So, my advice is not to use this card other than for emergency situations. Find another cheaper digital card that explains upfront all of its charges or do as everyone else...use a traditional business card.I was not paid for this review. What can I say but that I absolutely love this modern tool. I’m into EDC and this was a no-brainer addition to stand out, however, it’s main purpose is for networking in general.Don’t be turned off by the “business” aspect because Popl is a fantastic brand for someone who is newly introduced to the digital business card market or someone whose networking is their every-minute lifestyle.I also enjoy Popl’s profile, as it incorporates iOS aesthetics but it also offers a monthly membership for even further profile customization and profile perks; if you want to set up your networking even more like scanning other “archaic paper” business cards and it automatically syncing to your digital profile, for example. I’ve actually been considering their membership simply because I’m impressed with their service as as whole.Popl also offers many other products to step up your networking game even further, or simply if you want a different method to connect. They offer stickers, metal cards, bracelets, cases, etc. I was so impressed with Popl that I became an ambassador so use “NATHAN743” for 20% at Popl website.10/10 product and absolutely vital for anyone who wants something new, modern, and simply unique. I love the profile customization and every person’s expression never gets old when I tap their phone with my card or scan the QR for the older phones. Highly recommend for anyone and everyone. Plus the specific card I got was Prism or “Holographic” because it reminded me of 90s trading cards lol

Card works well and is simple to use. I am a wedding photographer and I use the card multiple times a day to share my business info. Easy to use, simple UI, easy for customers to save your information straight to their phone. My criticism is the analytics and extra pages has to be purchased via subcription.

The business card looks modern and the physical card it comes with has good durability like any standard credit card. It was easy to install. Just download the app and follow the prompts to customize the card and make it truly yours. I love the digital version as it works quick and easy to promote my business.

This works perfectly as a traveling photographer that needs to give out cards to motorsports personal. It’s so easy for them to tap rather than keeping business cards around!

This Popl card is absolute trash. Does not work like it is supposed to. Support is absolutely horrible. Have not been able to get them to support anything and if they do it takes days to answer. It is a horrible waste of time, I will try another company. Hope I have better luck.

The idea is great and it works well for quickly sharing your info with the QR code or a tap. However, I was disappointed that you need a paid membership to customize it fully. For something meant to help with networking, I expected more features to be available for free. It does the basic job, but the extra cost feels a bit unnecessary.
