I had the original black max prop come with my bass classic xl and it worked well, but decided to switch to the Spitfire 14 pitch. Boat planes instantly now and holds better on turns too. I did add the senior hydrofoil which coincides with the prop. RPM’s are at 5900 at WOT, perfect, no need for the 13 pitch. Starts on plane around 2400 rpm, what more could you ask for. Great 2 day delivery from Leaders with the best price too!

I waited til I could afford this versus the cheap off brand one. Which I'm sure is great for a quick fix. But I'm I glad I did wait. The metal is higher quality. The paint came off though from kicking sand and rocks probably but the blade just chopped right through and got to plane very quick on my 89' merc50. I'm new to boating and was able to replace this myself using a YouTube video and tools I already had.

Arrived quick, box in great shape, no issues, installed quickly and boat performs much better out of the hole and handles much better than 3 blade prop. Installed on 2019 Merc 60hp on 2019 Basstracker 175. Top speed 35mph on GPS.

We have a little16ft bayliner with the 60hp merc 4stroke . We hit a rock and chipped the prop so we went with this 4 blade and it made a big differnce in getting up on plane! Also gained a few mph and i swear the engine runs smoother! We noticed the difference right away.

2020 Tracker TXW with 60HP Merc.The standard 3-blade prop that comes on this boat/motor is absolutely perfect…if you’re fishing by yourself. I added 24V trolling system (so, an extra battery), a ton of gear, and with the live wells full and fishing with a co angler, the 3 blade prob could barely get on plane at all, I needed to make the switch.Install was simple, and it performed exactly how I expected. Hole shot increased dramatically, but top end did lose about 2mph. If you’re a solo tournament fisherman, I’d stick with the 3 blade, but if you’re just an avid fisherman going for fun with buddies, the 4 blade is where it’s at!!With my 3 blade trimmed up for best performance going wide open throttle, I was seeing 5700 RPM 35 mph.With this 4 blade spit fire I was seeing just over 6000 RPM at 33mph.

The props pitch for my boat and engine would not work. Returned item and vendor was very helpfull during the return process. There seemed to be a glich in the return process (first time I had this problem) which made it difficult at first but the vendor was very helpfull. There appeared to be something wrong with the return page. The five stars is for the vendor being helpfull.

What a difference 4 blades can do! Replaced my old 3-blade prop with the SpitFire on my Boston Whaler SS 130 and it's like a new boat.I couldn't believe it, I was able to ride on plane at about 2500 rpm in less than 10 secs from what use to be upwards of 45-60 secs. Could feel the extra power to also negotiate choppy waters. Great value.
