Easy project and it works great again!

The product did not fit my drill. Error in what I asked for, but the chuck seemed to be what I ordered. I sent it back with no problem for a full return.

Great tool, however, to remove the old one from my drill had to take tool to the Dewalt center.It only took them 15 seconds to take off old and replace with new one.

This part fits on my DCD771 Type 2, but it is not a direct OEM replacement. The chuck is a bit shorter and smaller overall diameter. The OEM is a Weida 1642. This part is a Weida 2327.My old chuck would just click when trying to turn it either direction, so I had to take a dremel to cut it in half and get it off. New one went on in less than 2 minutes, just thread it on and put the bolt in. Easy peezy.Also it came with a new bolt, even though the description said it didn't.So far it seems to work fine, turns smooth and tightens on the bits just fine. Price is right, much cheaper than a new drill, and I hope it lasts a few years for my light residential use.

Easy to install and so much cheaper than buying another drill

Had to return it. Did work for my DCD777C2. Came with new bolt, but my drill does not use screw on bolt.
