Eco Friendly Straws - 100% Biodegradable & Compostable, Made From Avocado Pits - 50 Count

I tested one of these straws over the course of two days, and through multiple cold carbonated caffeinated drinks, with no signs of structural failure on the walls or end of the straw. The end few inches of the straw in this test was probably submerged for a total of 16 hours. I'd say it's a winner. I do wish the diameter was slightly larger. The length fits 16oz aluminum cans with a few inches to spare out the top. I don't drink hot beverages too often so I probably won't have the opportunity to rate it there. I didn't notice any flavor difference in the beverage. The straw its self doesn't have a flavor. 10/10.

I've deliberately stopped using plastic straws for environmental reasons. For the last year or so, I was using, and re-using, paper straws. But as one would expect, they became soggy and unsanitary pretty quickly. These straws last "forever". They're sturdy, just the right diameter for drinks (not smoothies or anything thick) and have a pleasant feel. AND by purchasing them, I'm giving a boost to a small innovative business. Highly recommended! BTW - I received no incentive for writing this review.

These are good but they are thinner and shorter than my previous kind and I wish they did not break as easy.

Wow! This is my first time I used this never heard material and I’m so surprised! The paper straw get lose and saggy after few min in liquid but this straws stay in water over night? NO problem! I don’t have to upside down try the other end 🤣 this straws expensive but it’s worth it! I love it!Edit: it does 100% good in cold water for many days but I put it in warm tea then dead right away. Do not use it for warm milk or hot tea!

If you care about the environmental impact of plastic straws but despise paper straws, this is the perfect solution. They do not dissolve in your drink but are biodegradable. No taste, no scent and very sturdy/durable.

These do feel like plastic at first but do soften in your drink. Cannot use in HOT liquid, they shrivel. At least they don't have the cardboard feel.

These straws are awful.I use a different avocado straw but ran out and ordered these by mistake.They are flimsy and collapse when drinking

Exactly what I had expected in a biodegradable straw. Much preferred over paper straws. They're flexible but not too brittle, the texture of the material is matte and they're sturdy enough for multiple refills. They can last through a day of being in liquid. This should be obvious, but they are not for use in hot drinks. Will be stocking these at home from now on!
