The etude house sunscreen was a little too matte even for my oily skin. This product is the best physical sun cream I have tried.Other products I have used include: Supergoop, Colorescience, Tatcha, Dr.Jart, Innisfree, Peter Thomas Roth, etc. Look no further, Makeprem beats them all.The texture of this product is similar to a light face cream. I don’t feel it just sitting on my face and the white cast disappears after a few minutes of application. It’s a soft matte finish after it dries. Some other sun creams would cause my eye to sting if I rubbed my eye but I don’t have an irritation problem with this on my face or neck.Wearing my matte foundation over is not a problem at all and I actually find this to act like a primer so I don’t apply a foundation primer over it. Plus the uv protection is phenomenal.I’m writing this review because lots of people around me ask about this. I’d bring this to my skin clinic and ask my estheticians to apply this after my laser sessions. They are ALWAYS impressed and asking me where I got it. They fall in love with the scent, how well it spreads, and absorbs on my face. Many take pictures with their phone to remember it after I brag about only using mineral sunscreens especially after a laser session and the PA levels of this.If you are a lover of mineral sunscreens or anti chemical sunscreen, give makeprem a try.The package comes with the original product plus a sample size oil cleanser as of now but I used to receive other samples like a foam cleanser and toner.Remember! Must use an oil based cleanser to remove mineral sunscreens effectively.Bonus: Slight price drop? I may have paid $30 in the past but the current price is $27.99 (2021).

Delivery was great: The package arrived very quickly and in perfect condition at my doorstep!As for the product packaging itself, I was very pleased with the minimalistic design of the sunscreen and the fact that information about the product as well as the ingredient list is provided both in Korean and in English as it is always helpful to be able to read the ingredients in English for those of us who do not speak Korean.The Sunscreen goes on very smoothly and sinks right into your skin when you apply it which I love, because I don't have to wait so long to apply my makeup! It also does not leave a white cast on my face - as I am very pale I usually have a problem with sunscreen making me look like a literal bedsheet which is not the case here at all, indeed my skin looks better with the sunscreen on than without it. My skin is highly sensitive and I have not yet suffered from any breakouts (hopefully it'll stay like this!) and other than that it does not sting my eyes either which is why I purchased the sunscreen in the first place. :) For the price I think you can't really go wrong here, especially considering that there's quite a bit of product in the tube and that you only need a small amount to cover your face and neck area.All in all I am thoroughly satisfied and will surely repurchase again in the future!

I love that is doesnt leave white cast as others

I use this sunscreen on my face, neck and chest every morning, often applying it two or three times throughout day. It does give a temporary white cast that disappears as it absorbs and sets, about 10 minutes in the winter. I apply another spf tinted moisturizer and then, all my makeup over that. The sunscreen works great! I think it actually makes my makeup look better. The trick is that you need to let it absorb, almost like another layer of makeup, before applying more layers. I got it because I am using hydroquinone to lighten sunspots and you have to use sunscreen with it. But I plan to continue using this after I stop the lightening regimen because it works so well and will obviously help prevent sunspot return.I do think it's pricey. I would rather it not come with all the little extras and be less expensive that have to pay for all the "free gift" deluxe sample sizes. They are all nice and I've used them before but I'll never buy full sizes. The flower toner, in particular, is really nice in winter, especially on my chest, which tends to be dry. But I never put it on my face because the scent is crazy strong.

I normally buy this product in the smaller pump bottle and like it so much that this time I purchased the larger size. However, this tube version does not even seem like the same product. I'm not sure if they've changed the formula but unlike the product in the pump bottle, this one is thicker, leaves a white cast and has a faint sunscreen odor - none of which I find acceptable in a sunscreen. Returning this and re-ordering the pump bottle with fingers crossed.

I have an oily/dry combo skin. What I liked about this sunscreen is that it never emphasized my skin type. I didn’t feel too oily at the end of the day nor did I feel like it emphasize my dry patches. For me, it dried down to a semi-matte finish. It didn’t feel to drying or oily. My biggest gripe is that there is a very apparent white cast. I am on the medium side of skin tones so I have to really work it in. Sometimes it blends out fine but other times you can still see the white cast around my hairline. Would definitely like to try again but will also find other alternatives that don’t leave a white cast.
