Great value and convenience — second purchase
This is my 3rd purchase of these umbrella stands and own 4 of them. I filled w some play sand and work perfectly for my needs. The handle is convenient because I do move them around quite a bit. In the winter they are easy enough to store away in the garage and have held up through multiple seasons.

Well made fillable umbrella weight
So far this seems to be a well-made and good-looking fillable umbrella weight. It has a nice carrying handle so it is easier to move when filled with sand or stones. It also comes with a tool-free, extra-long thumb screw for securing the umbrella pole. I actually bought this to add stability to a metal towel rack I got on Amazon (see attached picture). The towel rack seems somewhat unstable, and I noticed other similar towel racks have a weight like this attached, Note that the center hole for this umbrella stand actually has a stopper about 1.25 inches up from the bottom. This is a nice feature to keep the umbrella pole up off of your deck surface so it doesn’t scratch or rust on the deck surface. Unfortunately I will have to cut it out with a hole saw to slide it over the towel rack pole. But however you plan to use this stand, I would recommend it without question.

Works Well
This worked fine. Needed to replace a very similar umbrella base for a table umbrella. Did not need much weight. Has pretty much the same profile as the one I replaced; fit nicely under the table/table legs. If you order fillable as I did, it comes empty, you fill it yourself. I used paver sand. Ordinary play sand would also work well. I did not fill it all the way; I stopped at about 30 or 35 pounds, which was plenty heavy if you ask me. It is a little difficult to fill. People are saying use a cut off soda bottle. This does work, but after cutting off the end, leave the cap on, use bottle as scoop, and just bend the edges of the bottle to direct the sand into the hole. The cap seemed to fit nice and tight, but I won't know till winter if water is going to get in and destroy the thing. Came with NO directions and with something rattling around on the inside which I could not get out and decided it did not matter. The screw to tighten it against the umbrella pole was in the right place, so I don't think it was the screw. This base does have a handle, which helps a lot in carrying it and maneuvering it. I also used a plant stand with wheels to wheel the thing around, through the house, onto and across the deck. These simple umbrella bases should be available at patio stores and big box stores, but for some reason they are now hard to find.

Perfect for a Non-Standard Application
I had an unusual application for this weighted base where I was securing the base of a relatively short antenna mast that was being securely attached to a structure at a greater height. Roughly 40lbs of sand in the base and I had the perfect solution to my project! Solid build, drain hole in bottom of center receptacle to shed water, plug for sealing the base after adding ballast of your choice fit securely into place. No regrets with this purchase for my unusual application and confident it would serve it's intended purpose well as well.

Works...
I can honestly say, this works, but I cannot see this lasting long. Note, this is intended to be used "with" a table and should not be used as a standalone. I have used this as a standalone and it has kept up my 9ft umbrella easily. It becomes unusable or will break if the wind picks up. I would not advise to use this product alone. That being said, it does work, but the materials seem too soft when it gets really hot. I can already tell after weeks of use in the sun, the hole is starting to warp where you tighten the screw because of the heat. My product did not come with a plug for the hole, so it's been an inconvenience and eyesore to use duct tape to cover the hole.If need something in a pinch, this will work well. If you want something transportable, this will also work well. If you're planning on using this for a permanent installation, I would advise on a metal stand that will last you for years.

Excellent Umbrella Base
Fits most umbrella poles and there’s a screw to keep it very sturdy. Then has a hole to fill in water or sand. Also has a handle to move, tho just roll it around once setup. Couldn’t be easier.

Needed a good umbrella base
We lost our umbrella base in the flood from Hurricane Milton. This one is filled with sand and will not float way.
