The chickens are intrigued
The media could not be loaded. It was easy to put together. . The nuts and bolts were kinda small. Very sturdy! It came with fake eggs to entice the chickens too!I have 4 hens this has 3 compartments, but they used to live in a dome dog kennel( in their enclosure) and they used to take turns going in to lay their eggs. So I’m pretty sure they will take turns again.I have 2 Rhode Island reds, a blue lace Wyandotte and another hen that I guess is just a mix ( she looks like a rooster)They all went to check out the new nesting boxes and they are just the right size, my birds are pretty big. They have enough room to go in and turn around and set.Today I got my first “ nesting boxes” egg. It was so big that it pushed the fake egg into the collection tray and it stayed in the nest. All in all, I think this is a good purchase.

Stopped chickens from eating their eggs.
I had a serious problem with the chickens eating their eggs. I purchased this item after reading various reviews. We have used it for two days and... a complete success! The chickens used it right away, clean eggs rolled into the collection box, and none got eaten.Assembly was a bit tricky in places, but overall easy enough using the assembly video (on Amazon site) and the instruction booklet. Hardest part was figuring out how to slide the plastic trays into place at the end (easy once I saw how it worked). The nesting box is designed to be hung from a wall, but I put it on the floor of the coop where the previous nesting boxes had been. I placed a 3-ft length of 2x4 along the back so that the floor of the nesting boxes would be at the correct angle to roll the eggs.

Instructions could be better on the front bar…
Relatively easy to put together, but that front bar can fit two ways. The images are not clear and the only clarity is the description of the nesting boxes “clicking” into place. The front bar goes in with the ramp inside the nesting area, the trays are a SNUG fit sliding past the lip of that front bar and I had to guide the back of the trays into the rear bar from behind. Would be hard to do if it was already installed on a wall. I waited to tighten the front screws until fully assembled due u the snug fit of the trays. Will install in the coop and see what the ladies think. Love that the roof is sturdy metal and slanted enough to prevent roosting. My ladies last L eggs though, so I’m not sure they’ll roll past the metal piece and into the covered tray. The plastic trays hang below the bottom of the frame, so it’s definitely a hang-only kind of set up.

Good choice
Parts fit together perfectly. Very easy to assemble. Excellent packaging. Good graphic assembly instructions, with practical instructions for putting into service. Adequate quality materials. Good design. Even comes with 2 each nuts and bolts in case of loss while assembling. Don’t know yet if the girls will like their improved accommodations.

Chickens wont use....
Mychickens will not use it. Also, it is very thin metal. Its sorr of flimsy. I do like the color combination they used. I would send it back if i could but my son threw the box away.

Roll out nest box
I like these a lot! Maybe I’m just not talented at that, but they were a bit hard to put together. It came with the little tool it takes to put it together and a couple fake eggs to encourage laying. The outside is a sturdy metal and the part the hen would actually lay in is plastic but they’ve held up well. I’ve had them in for over 6 months. To get my hens to actually use them though, I had to fill them with straw, which made it not roll out very well, but over time they started to lay it it without the straw and they work great

My eggs are clean now!
This is one of the best things I have bought for my chickens. It’s so nice to have clean eggs. They truly roll down into the bin. I can’t believe my girls use it without any bedding. I’ve never had any luck with the boxes or small homes. I am so happy this works. I’ve had it for a couple of months mounted to the wall near the floor and it seems to be holding up just fine. So far it’s been worth every penny.
