The product itself seems very well built and durable. The olive drab perfectly matches the Tank color of my JK. The stitches seem hardy, and there is a firm material that borders the cover with small brass rivets. The bags appear of high quality MILSPEC design, and the straps wove into the cover perfectly, creating a sturdy unit. Overall, I'm pleased with the product and I'm confident that it will provide many years of service. I will say, that the self tapping screws would suffice for light duty. Because I plan on using it for heavier items, I substituted 5mm Rivet Nuts, which worked beautifully and will ensure heavy duty use. I purchased an economy Rivet Nut tool and a variety pack of steel rivet nuts from Amazon. I had never used the rivnut system before, but it was easy, and produced a professional installation. I highly recommend the tailgate system to expand the utility and organization of the 2 Dr. Jeep.

Used 10-24 rivnuts & stainless machine screws instead of the self taping hardware supplied. The door frame area on the lower and side portion of the tailgate is reinforced and thick. Recommend colbalt bits and cutting fluid. The interior skin is very thin and can easily elongate if you hit the edge of an internal support. Did the tape idea to hold it on but then afixed the top row first then drew it tight and punched & drilled the others one at a time.Important to set the backing on a hard flat surface wih flat weight on top for a few days. It comes crinkled and folded in half. Thats the way to get it flat and drawn tight. Quality bags and it does not flop at all when driving

…but really happy with the end result.Didn’t like the included self tapping coarse thread sheet metal screws so I went to Ace Hardware and purchased some flat wafer head self tapping machine thread screws.An included template would take out all the guesswork but if you start at a corner and then stretch as hard as you can, mark and add an 1/8 inch to the other corner you can get the Molle panel fairly tight. Still not perfect though. Have to shim and get creative with the factory tailgate travel limiter, when you poke through the Molle panel it has a tendency to rock and make a snapping noise depending on where you end up mounting the panel.But once it’s done, the possibilities are endless. Molle webbing is secure and will accept anything you want to mount to it.Just be patient, measure 10x before drilling your holes and this quality product will be as good as the time you put in to the install.

I was hesitating as I didn’t want to drill in my tailgate. Went ahead and bought this and installed in about 30 minutes. I decided to use pop rivets instead of the included screws. Also you will have to punch 2 holes in the liner to allow your tailgate catch to fit, at least that seemed the most reasonable to me. Very cool addition for my 2 door jk rubicon.

Looks great on the Jeep tailgate. While not easy for one person to install with a little painters tape and patience it went on fairly well. No problems with the screws working. I did have to disconnect the tailgate arm and then poke holes in the system but that only added a few minutes of install time.

The pouches that come with this product are fantastic and everything is of great quality. The only thing I don't like about this product is that you have to drill holes in your existing tailgate. It is still a very good product that is very functional and frees up space in the cargo area of your Jeep. Will recommend this product to anyone with a Wrangler.
