NextWallAcanthus Floral Peel and Stick Wallpaper (Daydream Grey & Pearl Blue)

I really love the pattern of this wallpaper. It really makes a statement in my bathroom! Part of the pattern that looks like leaves is closer to a gray than a green, but does seem to have a slight green tinge to it. All in all the pattern is beautiful. I’m not sure how to describe it, but the wallpaper itself seemed duller than I expected it to be. It just didn’t seem very vibrant. That said, I really love the way it looks in my bathroom and I am satisfied completely. I have never worked with a peel and stick wallpaper, but have a great deal of experience with wallpaper used over the last 30 years. I had quite a bit of difficulty with the peel and stick since once it stuck to itself, or was applied to the wall, it did not allow for any adjustment or movement to be made. I realized, after a while of working with the wallpaper that the best way to compensate for this was to do all the cutting first carefully and measuring very carefully, and that made things easier. Pretty tedious but worth the effort. The one problem with doing that is a couple times the wallpaper came in contact with itself on the inside and stuck, and it was hard to pull it apart. That said, when I did pull it apart It worked just fine to reapply it. I definitely recommend the slight overlap. I believe I did approximately 1/ eighth to 1/4 of an inch overlap and it has been about five days now and there is only one area that very minimally shows a hint of a line. I am pleased overall, 4 star rating was because of difficulty with application not appearance once done.

I ordered 14 rolls and many of the rolls start at different areas of the pattern so you really have to unwrap all of your rolls and find a good starting point in your print otherwise you will end up with a bunch of waste( like I did 🙃). The print looks really nice, the peel and stick adhesive has a great hold, but it was really a bummer when I got a few sheets hung and ended up having to trim and discard several feet of some rolls just to match up the pattern correctly.

I've had mine up for a little over a year. The paper is super cool looking. I have the whole smoking room thing going on in my gym with it. However, it pulls (separates, shrinks, whatever you wanna call it!).I highly recommend you overlap by at least 1/4". It'll be tempting not to bc you'll want to line up the seams but trust me on this. Almost every seam I can see the white wall I failed to paint beforehand, shining through like a beacon of annoyance.Thankfully, I've got that whole eclectic vibe going on so I cover the eye soar with art or something but seriously, overlap!Other than that, the paper is sturdy, easy to work with, and playable. I'd say the pattern runs a little over 40". I have a chair rail that I stopped at to save some money. 8' walls and the paper extends down about 3/8 the height of the wall.

Update: wallpaper is NOT defective. Person did not peal off backing. Was using as traditional wallpaper.Only issue is this is not easy to hang and would definitely recommend EZ-HANG spray to use while hanging!I had a professional wallpaper person attempt to hang this wallpaper. There was a distinct white line on the edge and now way to cover it as it was on both ends. Very disappointed in this product and quality.

I added this wallpaper to the back of some IKEA Billy bookcases to add a pop of color to my dining room. This wallpaper was super easy to apply and line up! I’d recommend getting one extra roll for your projects so you don’t have to stress when lining up the pattern.
