The Drain King VIP1 Drain Unclogging Kit really surprised me with how well it works! I had a stubborn clog that traditional methods couldn’t fix, and this kit saved me from calling a plumber.It’s easy to set up and use—just attach it to a garden hose, insert it into the drain, and let the water pressure do its thing. Within minutes, the clog was gone. Definitely worth having in your home toolkit for those unexpected plumbing issues!

I purchased this to unclog a completely blocked kitchen sink main drain at my rental home. After spending 2 hours trying to use a drain snake while hunched beneath the sink on this blockage with no meaningful success, I made the purchase of this device from Amazon and 2 days later used it to completely clear this drain line in under 3 minutes of use. I did remove the "P" trap assembly part of drain beneath sink so i could insert this device directly into the drain line, and I used a water hose connected to an outdoor faucet. I'm really pleased and impressed with how effective and easy to use this is and inexpensive. RECOMMEND!

I was skeptical of this product but it worked on a master bathroom drain that had sewage backing up into the bathtub. I previously tried snaking both the bathtub and vanity sink (that share the same line) with a 50' snake connected to a power drill (this technique succeeded the last time this happened). After I broke 2 snakes, I purchased this product.I found a YouTube video helpful in reminding me to use Teflon tape on all the connections. I cut a wine cork to fit in the pop-up drain diverter pivot seat which is another place that will leak if you are using it on a bathroom sink with a pop-up drain. Then I turned it on and almost gave up until I heard a lovely gurgling that heralded the opening of the drain. It may not work for every situation, but it's inexpensive enough that I think it deserves a try. I'm intending to connect this regularly to maintain the health of my drains.UPDATE: I have used it a few more times and I have found smaller corks on Amazon that fit the pop-up diverter perfectly Small #7 Tapered Corks - 100 CT..FYI: I had no success using the cross bar extension; it's cheap plastic and doesn't maintain a very good seal.

I have used it to unclog drain pipe in my basement on a few occasions. Works as promised.

I got one for the irritating little drains twenty five years ago, and it still works like new. Now, I bought its big brother! No “please”, no “sorry”, just an irresistible tsunami directed toward whatever was stuck in the pipe. It sends hot water just as easily as cold, and there are no chemicals to harm folks or pets. Try not to yell Yeehaw!You need an upstream water source to power it. A couple screw fittings to access a sink's faucet are included. (Guard them with your life.) A short run of garden hose completes the setup.

For the price, this is about the best you can do to clear a stopped drain without resorting to corrosive chemicals. I bought this to fix a slow-running bathroom sink that I had already pulled what I thought was everything out of it. The easiest way to use this is to connect to a garden hose.Since the bathroom is in my upstairs, I popped out a window screen and pulled the hose up through the bathroom window so I could use this. Once I fitted the adapter to the sink drain (having already removed the drain stop), I had my wife turn on the hose and FWOOSH I heard the water blast out and through whatever was stuck in that sink! Wow, I couldn't believe how quickly and simply this worked. I only had it on for a couple of seconds before turning it off, and that was it. The sink has been draining well ever since.Save money and buy this instead of calling the plumber! Save your sink by not pouring caustic Drano and other chemicals down it that *still* won't fix the problem! (My wife bought a couple of different nasty things that she poured down the sink that could not cut through the clog.)

I did not give larger size a grand review, however this little guy is worth it.

Snaked the kitchen drain in the past over 50 feet to get some flow, took off the trap and used this in the drain and it never pulsed so was not sure it did anything, ran it for about 5 minutes then reconnected the trap and drain worked perfectly.
