I was surprised at how small these lights are but am happy they are. It makes them easier to store. I love them. They provide plenty of light and often times one is enough. I have had no problems with the magnets or melting of the plastic as I keep them away from excessive heat. The lights are plenty bright enough you don’t need to put them right on top of the heat. I have gone through several different grill lights that either didn’t last or were to restrictive or both. These are very versatile and so far are holding up fine.So I have been using these lights for almost a full year and after dropping them several times, one even has a chip in the housing, they are still working perfectly and putting out plenty light. The mage net did pop out of one so with a little silicone I glued a stronger magnet to it and did the same with the second light and now they are good and solid. I highly recommend these lights and if I ever have to replace them I will gladly buy these same ones.

I love to cook food on my Trager grill. I have purchased grill lights before and they have not worked the way they say they do (clamp on lights). I saw the Bright Eyes Magnetic BBQ Light Set I decided to try them since they were only so affordable. When I received them they were in a nice sturdy hard plastic case with foam inside to store & protect them when not in use. I put the batteries in them and tried them out. Both of the lights came on, between the two they give off more than enough light to light up the grilling surface of my grill. I stuck one light on one side of my grill lid and it worked great. When I tried to stick the 2nd light on the opposite side of my grill lid I found that for some reason the base of the light was not magnetic and would not stick. I received an email from Bright Eyes thanking me for purchasing their product and my business. I replied back with the following: “I received the lights and they would be great if it was not for one problem. For some reason one of the lights base is not magnetic; the light works great it’s just the magnetic base on the one is not magnetic”. The same day I received a reply from Bright Eyes CEO apologizing for the one lights base not being magnetic and stated they had shipped me a new one. Within the week I received the working replacement light. I really appreciated their follow up with me about the light and their quick response to correct the problem. As a customer that is what I am looking for in a business’s customer service. Great item. Can see perfectly while grilling at night and magnets are strong.

This is a great and almost ideal grilling product. Each LED is very bright and could be used alone. Mine came with a broken lens, and I'm going through the return and exchange process now. My only comment is that the length of the arms should be twice as long or the top should swivel. With the grill I have, the setup shown in the product picture isn't possible b/c the top opens wider (the part of the top the lights are attached to point away from the grill and are not over it), so if I were to want to achieve the setup shown, the base would be pointed down when attached to the front of the grill top, and the arms only bring the light back up to the grill top. There isn't enough length to get the light over the edge of the grill.The main issue is that you can't attach the lights in a working position while grilling. Each time I open the grill, I have to reposition the lights to a location inside the grill. It works, but it could be made awesome with a few design updates.After having looked at others that attach to the handle, I realized none of those would work for me as the handle would be behind the grill top when open, so these are the best available, at least on Amazon.I also like the portability and the case. They can easily be moved and used as project lights, or they can be attached to a metal surface to provide indirect up lightning in dark areas (they are too bright for directly lighting an area for social gatherings, but that's the point for a grill light)

Five nights camping, five nights grilling meat on my Royal Gourmet Grill and, since my friends and I actually eat dinner at night and not in the afternoon, these lanterns were invaluable.In the past, I've always used a headlamp when grilling after dark but I saw these a few weeks ago in a pop up on Amazon and, because they were pretty inexpensive, I figured what the hell and bought 'em.I'm really glad I did. to give you an idea of the level of illumination they gave me, I'm showing you two photos taken in full dark, without flash (and no headlamp on my head), one night's pork tenderloin and another night's NY Strips that show how well they light my grill!

Loved that it came in a set of 2. We have a propane grill and a propane griddle and one light each works great! Definitely happy with my purchase.

I'm so glad I bought these! They work amazingly. The only thing...I wish they were rechargeable instead of battery powered.

The lights are bright and well made, strong and sturdy magnet. The plastic storage case is a plus if you need that. The only downside is the grill must be made of metal because magnets don't connect with stainless steel; which in hindsight I knew, but didn't think about before I purchased. It isn't a flaw of the product, there isn't any magnet that can be connected to stainless steel. I figured out a workaround, so I am still happy but might be worth your consideration. The light is bright enough to easily cover a large size grill, so I use the other one on a metal toolbox and it works great. LED means the battery lasts a long time.
