I have this product on my back patio. It feels cheap but it is actually holding up well. I use it everyday. I would recommend this product for ours value and performance.

So easy! In these tough economic times every little bit helps. So we save our cans to recycle for a little extra cash. It’s not much and takes a while to compile enough to make it worth it and up till now they took up a lot of space. NOT ANYMORE! This handy little tool crushes them down in no time flat and makes each can pretty small so they take up way less space. A few seconds now, a whole lot of space saving in the long run and some extra cash in our pockets a little ways down the road! A win win!!

very useful. the only complaint is that the metal is too thin and will warp after crushing a few hundred cans. Also, needs a retaining "bar" to keep the cans from buckling out when crushing.

I love that this also smashes the taller cans. Be sure to mount it studily, like on a piece of wood that is then screwed to the wall into studs. The handle is kind of at an awkward angle, so it doesn't smash them as flat as they could be, but I juat add another can and smash both together.

I was so happy to get this since my recycling bin is always overflowing but right out of the box the first issue was that the handle absolutely would not stay up on its own. This wouldn’t be a real problem if the handle would would go all the way down, flush with the crusher but it does not. It sticks out somewhat far. I tried a couple different ways but finally had to design something to hold the handle up without having to remove any straps or anything every time I use it. So first I put the handle up where it’s supposed to be and measured the distance between the wall and handle grip, I then cut a piece that size off a Jenga block (yes a jenga block) and screwed it to the wall behind the handle. I then gorilla glued the hook side of a piece of Velcro on the entire surface of the block overtop of the screw. I then measured how big the handle was around, cut a wide piece of the loop side of the Velcro that length and sewed it completely around the center of the handle and viola! It’s been in tact despite very heavy use for months now, however, I noticed another problem almost immediately. The slip mat type thing in the bottom was all chipped apart and the cans would fly out almost every time you tried to crush them. I traced the bottom and top of the inside and cut out thick textured contact paper cabinet liners and gorilla glued it inside. I included Pictures hope this helps someone else to not waste as much time as I had to, trial and error-ing.

It is incredibly sturdy and does a great job on cans and regular plastic bottles.

Well I crushed six cans and the rivets broke and it came apart. Not a quality item. Do not buy
