Just the job gets you connected

Our house is wired for Ethernet to various places. The link to the study was proving to be somewhat unreliable - occasionally strange and conflicting indications of Internet service availability would appear on the PC screen task bar. After exhaustive tests round the system I came to the conclusion that the cable connection must be fault. DC continuity test proved OK, but I could not check directly the dynamic performance to high frequency digital signals. I replaced the cable run with this one and all has been fine. (Maybe it is because I skimped on the original cable run and should have installed one with UV resistance; it ran partially outside the house, exposed to sun. Lesson: "Buy cheap - buy twice!")

What an unexpected surprise to find half a dozen CAT6 shielded RJ45 plugs included with the cable!They came in very useful.As soon as I started the installation, I knew this was a quality product. The twisted pairs are more tightly twisted and the copper cores are AWG23 gauge. The central core separator is smaller than some others but this allows the overall diameter to be a more a convenient size (approx 6mm) for terminating with RJ45 plugs. (Some outdoor CAT6 cables are 8mm diameter and can be a nightmare to terminate using standard RJ45 plugs.)Highly recommended.

Ran this from main router point outside up through the loft and fed it to 3x rooms, no issues running outside as extremely durable. Getting an average of 960Mbps from each room so no complaints here!

Seems to be decent quality, I've not installed it yet and have just pulled a bit apart to see the construction.Needed a cat 6 ethernet cable, part of which will run outdoors for a short length.Copper-clad Aluminium is going to be fine for my needs.£14.69 ( at the time of review ) is a little on the high side but I like that it comes with 4 connectors so I can cut to length once I'm ready to finish my installment.

Was soll man bei einem Kabel bewerten (sag ich immer), entweder es funktioniert oder eben nicht. Bei dem hier ist ersteres der Fall, natürlich vorausgesetzt, man versemmelt das Crimpen oder Auflegen nicht. Bei mir läuft das Kabel (hier die schwarze Variante) im 1 GBit-Netzwerk einwandfrei, was soll man noch berichten.Das Kabel ist lt. Hersteller für den Outdoor-Betrieb ausgelegt, wobei ich wohl eher zumindest da die Montage im Kabelkanal oder Leerrohr bevorzugen würde.Ich verzichte in meinen Rezensionen gerne auf geblümte Worte wie "hat mir das Leben erleichtert", "ist ein stetiger Begleiter" oder "hat mein XYZ auf ein neues Level gehoben", auch mag ich keine simple Auflistung der Produkteigenschaften oder gar 🔧💚✨☀👍-Orgien.Als Vine-Tester vermittle ich ebenso ungern das Gefühl, als würde ich das Produkt schon seit etlichen Wochen oder gar Monaten benutzen, ich muss es innerhalb von 30 Tagen bewerten. Ich erhalte es kostenlos, muss aber Steuern dafür abführen, egal, ob gut, schlecht, defekt oder auch passt nicht! Ist das Produkt schlecht, wird es auch entsprechend so bewertet, Punkt! Ich schreibe ich so, wie mir der Schnabel gewachsen ist. Ich hoffe, das man mit meiner Rezension etwas anfangen kann und sie für einen potentiellen Käufer nützlich ist.

Il cavo è ben costruito e resiste anche in caso di installazioni piuttosto "violente", sebbene sia flessibile e di diametro contenuto. È stato consegnato molto rapidamente, come previsto.Unica cosa incomprensibile è la fornitura (col cavo da 20 m) di 4 connettori, graditissimi ma sostanzialmente inutilizzabili senza acquistare i relativi cappucci (che si trovano per pochi centesimi).E che ci voleva a mettere nella busta 4 cappucci?Peraltro serve solo a dirottare l'acquirente presso un altro venditore.Per fortuna non mi servivano altrimenti avrei tolto 1 stella.Può essere una delusione per chi non è esperto di questi lavori... Un peccato!

Parfait pour mon utilisation.J’avais besoins de rajouter une prise ethernet derrière la tv de ma cuisine et ma box se trouve dans mon sous sol.J’ai passé ce câble et tout fonctionne parfaitement.
