These wound dressings are perfect for my upcoming knee surgery. Adhesive around edges and nice thick padding to cover the wound. It is important to keep your wounds clean and changing bandages regularly is important. These dressings should be a staple in everyone's home because they are not only for surgery dressings but for any wound that needs to be covered for quick healing. Great product, 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.

There are six bandages in this package. Each one has a coverage area of 4.25" x 4.25" not counting the border. With the border, the bandage is the 6" x 6" specified.These are thick with a light adhesive throughout, including the sore area being covered, and are very absorbent. The bandages are pliable and move with the patient. These bandages are great to have in a medicine cabinet, especially if dealing with the elderly. Of course, these are for large wounds. I honestly did not realize how large they were until I saw them. I have ordered 4" bandages before and considered them small/medium but the extra 2" here makes a big difference in size.I got these for an elderly friend of mine who has a sore on his leg and he uses this type of bandage regularly and loves them. Since he uses them once per day, these can get expensive. He cuts big ones like these in half since all areas are sticky.The current price of $23.99 for 6 bandages comes to $4 per bandage, which is expensive but still competitively priced.

6x6 wound dressing with a 4x4 pad. They stick well and there is an adhesive over the entire inside of the dressing so they stay in place well also. These are more of a longterm bandage for bigger wounds and are meant for wounds that are still draining/wet. You could use them over stitches or staples or a scabbed wound to keep clean also but may have some discomfort removing them because of the adhesive. (Or maybe dampen them a little or take a shower to remove them in that case)4 stars. They're as good any other brand ive seen sell these type of bandages and are priced competitively. Nothing stands out to rate them 5 stars to me however.

Dealing with various wounds over the years, I've tried several different types of bandages/dressings. These seem to pretty much fall in line with most of the other foam-style dressings I have used. They work, but there's nothing I've noticed that make them stand out from the rest of the pack.Update: I didn't notice when I wrote my original review, but the entire pad is sticky, including the 4.2 x 4.2 center pad. I gave one to my elderly mother to use on a wound she has, and it did NOT work well for her. Taking in account her experience along with my own, I lowered my rating down to 3 stars.

I got this to have on hand.. the adhesive gel is very soft. Does not hurt when peeling off.Pad absorbs very well. Does not stick to wound neither. They have exceeded my standard.
