Good quality
The brushed side of the steel is well protected. I used them to fill a gap between my new range hood and counter backsplash. Perfect.

SS 304 is not magnetic, be aware if you are looking for a magnetic strip.
These strips are nice for what they are. By its' makeup Stainless steel 304 is not magnetic, so don't look to these if you need something to use magnets on. The manufacturer I believe should notate this, since a lot of people wouldn't really need to know the properties of SS 304 in their daily life.Otherwise, this is a decent product. Clean, straight, no damaged or bent pieces in the package. Protective strip on one side that keeps the finish nice.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I selected this because it is so thin that it allowed me to fine tune my shimming need using multiple pieces.

Stainless Steel - Magnetically Impaired
Nice quality stainless steel shims. Description states ... "Wide Use: the metal shims can be widely applied in crafts, decoration or art, as well as magnetic kitchen tools or magnetic supports, and more, which are very practical and versatile". Magnets can stick to some types of stainless steel, but not all. The stainless steel shims are not magnetic ... magnets do not stick to them. They get a rating of 1. Returned them for the stainless iron shims which are magnetic. Rating of 3. The may be magnetic support shims; however, if you want to mount them you will need to purchase a double sided mounting tape.

Not able to hold a magnet
I bought these so I could use magnets on them. Didn’t work. Might be my fault for not reading something, but I thought I’d be able to use magnets:(
