Hard Travel Case Cover for WD My Passport 1 TB 2TB 3TB 4TB Portable Hard Drive by co2CREA (Black-Large)

As the name of the product says, it was intended for WD My Passport hard drives. I don't understand those 2-star reviews who complain about it not being the right size. And then there's that 3-star review that complains about "soft tummy". Then there's that 1-star review that says that they expected cheap and got cheap. Don't even know what that's about. It fits inside the case perfectly with the USB cable attached. And that "soft tummy" that that one reviewer complained about? It doesn't exist in this hard drive case. The case has the same hard, protective rigidity all around.The quality of this case is far better than any other I had purchased for WD MY Passport hard drives. It has ample soft padding on the inside and good rigid shell on the outside. (Again, no "soft tummy".) It also has extra space on the top half for other cables or small accessories, so this case may be useful for carrying small items other than just hard drives.The one unique feature of this hard drive case that I have not seen in any other is that it allows you to keep the USB cable attached to the drive. To many people, that may not be a big deal, but it is a very useful feature for me, as that can cut down on the wear and tear of the connectors, especially the USB connector in the drive, by reducing the number of times I have to attach and detach the cable..In addition, if I just leave the cable attached to the drive and transport it that way without using a case, the jiggling movement of the cable can also put unnecessary mechanical stress on the drive connector. But this hard drive case was designed and sized just right to keep both the drive and the attached cable immobile, providing very good protection for the drive, the connectors, and the cable during storage and transport.I liked this case so much that I decided to order a second one for my other WD My Passport hard drive.

And it is the perfect case! The Apogee One fits with enugh space lengthwise to have room for the breakout cable that I never use. Then there's the flap/divider which, if left flat, will put constant pressure on the Apogee's big data knob and keep it pressed in which isn't good. Just fold the flap in half length-wise as you see in the photo and it will sit over the breakout cable and keep anything from resting on the know, even when zipped closed. Perfect! I keep my Steinberg Key in the mesh pocket with a UGreen USB-C to Mini USB cable to run this on my laptop. And look how strong teh case is in photo 2, I rested one side of a 12lb dumbell on the case and it totally held it up! No way will the Apogee interface get crushed when toss in my backpack. This case may not have been intended for the Apogee One but it's a perfect match.

I was so happy with my first case that I recently purchased a second one. I bought the first case about 2 years ago, and as you can see from the photos it is nearly indistinguishable from the new one. It is very sturdy, and can fit my 4tb and 5tb WD drives perfectly. It is also long enough to store with the cable still attached, an issue I've had with other cases. As you can see from the photo, it can also fit a 1tb drive in the case as well. If you're looking for a case that can fit both a large, 4-5tb drive and a slimmer 1-2tb drive in the same case, this is perfect.

Spacious enough for hard drive plus extras.... wires, adapters, sd cards & cases fit easily.

The case was bigger than I thought, but it works out just fine. It appears to be durable so far, but I don't think I'll be tossing it around to test it. I have a WD 4TB external hard drive, so it's thicker than the typical 1TB or 2TB. Because of that, it takes up some more room (depth wise). As you can see from the first pic, there's enough space to just wrap that cord in the available space without having to disconnect it from the hard drive. On the other pic, there are slots for thumb drives. I have my 2 placed where it doesn't press up against the hard drive, but I believe it will be fine if thumb drives are placed in the other slots because of the depth of the case.So far so good. No complaints. Overall, it's a good hard case.

As a techie, I have lots of different portable devices that I use from time to time and carry around with me. This case is perfect to hold my WD external hard drive on one side and my mi-fi device on the other side, with plenty of room for the associated cords, etc. and I even have room to keep a set of earbuds in there too as well as a couple of flash drives! The case is extremely well made, and is nicely padded for extra protection.

I travel a lot and my laptop bag has what seems like 35 cables in it. They're a pain to find, a pain to organize and they're always tangled. This worked out great. I paired it with a RAVPower 26800 and it fits like a champ and it still has room for 4-5 cables and a few adapters. The case is soft enough to put a lot in, but firm enough to keep it's shape. Highly recommend.
