Aromatic 02 - Ambroxan - molecule 02 type - Eau de Toilette Unisex 50ml

I have to admit I was skeptical at first, given the great price point, but I was pleasantly surprised by this one. There is definitely some form of authentic ambroxan in there. I bought this to use as a layering scent, specifically for some weaker longevity scents, like Prada Luna Rossa Ocean EDT. After experimenting and trying it for a month now, I can confirm it does enhance performance to some extent, at-least on my skin. Projection improved just a little bit, but the longevity of my Luna Rossa Ocean EDT did improve by 2 to 3 hours and seemed to push a little more for the first couple hours. As a stand alone scent, I would say it smells very fresh, woody, and almost mineral like to my nose. It’s very pleasant, but I wouldn’t recommend wearing as a stand alone fragrance, as you’ll notice some of the other negative reviews were based on the expectation of being a stand alone scent. Thats really not where this thing shines. As the brand name would imply, “miracle layer”, it’s meant to be used in layering with other fragrances, unless you have the right skin chemistry for it, than you can pull off just wearing this alone. Don’t let the negative reviews scare you away on this one. For what it is, and if you know how to properly wear/use it, it’s a great little addition to the fragrance arsenal. I would also recommend spraying it 10 to 12 times, and let it rest for a couple weeks, as the scent and performance seems to settle in around that point. Overall very satisfied, and I plan to try the iso e super next!

This is my first review on Amazon, after years of using this website. As someone who owns the original Molecule 02 & realizes how over priced it is/ how cheap it is to make your own… I felt the need to make things clear for anyone looking for cheap Ambroxan.This does 100% have some form of ambroxide in it. There are multiple forms of “Ambroxan” out there. Ambroxan is a brand name & may very well be why some people complain about this product being different or not as strong.That being said… this product costs per ML about 1/3rd the price of the original Molecule 02. It is indeed weaker than the original & has less of a sugary scent profile.How much weaker… I’d say the price probably matches the ratio, slightly in your favor. It doesn’t quite jump out the same or linger as pronounced. This could be seen as a benefit to some. Especially anyone looking for something truly minimal but tasteful.How much less sweet… I’d say this has more of a woody aspect & much less of a sugary pastry effect. This also might be seen as a benefit, if sweet or more feminine scent profiles aren’t your thing. As I mentioned, there are many forms of “Ambroxan” & I’d assume they aren’t using that particular brand name. This probably accounts for any scent differences.All in all, this product 100% contains ambroxide. It is weaker than molecule 02/ less sugary sweet but more woody & subtle. This certainly costs less but It isn’t quite as good of a value as it seems based strictly off price per ML. I also personally like the extra sweet original.If you don’t wanna break the bank but want a solid & truly minimalist scent… this is actually probably a better buy for you. The barrier to entry is a fraction. This is considering all factors… Price per ML, strength, scent profile, presentation, bottle quality & atomizer.I’d recommend this to anyone interested in Molecule 02 or something minimal in general. I’d say to at least try this one first. Especially since trying this means spending about $20. You also might not be able to smell Ambroxan at all. I’d rather discover that trying this than Molecule 02.Buying ambroxide yourself will always be the cheapest & strongest. In my opinion, It doesn’t make sense to buy the original molecule 02 & this seems like your best bet, especially to give Ambroxan a trial run. However, if $150 isn’t a thing to you… molecule 02 is clearly superior. Just not enough to justify the price.

Layer to improve fragrance projection

I don't smell anything but alcohol in this. I also can't tell that there is any difference in my other fragrances' performance when I use this as a base layer. I'm really not sure that this isn't just a bottle of perfumer's alcohol.

Came SUPER well packaged. I'm talking dedicated size box, thick layered cardboard. It came double-wrapped in protective tissue paper- thicker paper wrapped outside the product box, the bottle came swaddled in soft tissue paper.smells super alcohol-y on application. wait for it to dry down before any thoughts...??it smells very nutty and woody on me, with a nice natural light salt and musk.I'll try it and layer soon.

I am so incredibly happy I bought this! I am using it to layer the "imposter" BACARRAT ROUGE 540 I bought from Amazon. It is also the perfect layering with my Juliette Has a Gun - Not a Perfume! I finally found my "signature" scent after 3-4 of the past years searching! Going to cancel my Scentbird subscription now, as well!

Smells better and lasts as long as others that are eau de parfum or extrait concentration. Great for layering with other fragrances to increase projection and longevity. I wouldn't recommend it as a stand alone fragrance but it could be used as one. It doesn't have too much of a scent on its own but it makes your other fragrances come to life. I don't know how it compares to Molecule 02. I can't bring myself to spend over $100 to find out. Especially when this is available for such a great price.

It smells delightful, but it does not last at all, and I was hoping to use it to accentuate others. Amber related scents, but it didn’t really do that either.
