Alessi FGO01 Minou Purse Hook, Polished

I've owned five different types over the years and this really is the very best! Not too heavy or big, no hinges to break as happens with the round folding ones, no pretty stones to drop off. Just a good size handbag holder in an interesting, cute and well thought-out design - the little curl on the end of the tail ensures your bag handles don't slide off - made of quality material that works brilliantly and is worth every penny to keep my bag clean and safe. Very, very pleased.

It may look rather flimsy on the product listing, but it’s very sturdy. It’s rather large, almost as big as my hand, and of course this doesn’t collapse, but it holds firm.It can carry quite a weight, as I have a heavy purse to carry around.It looks really cute, and it keeps my purse nice and safe off the floor.

Wanted an alternative to putting nails in the wall to hang stockings at Christmas. In all honesty they were a little pricey for what they are being used for, but this was the nicest design I could find, and perfect for our cat friendly household. They are very sturdy and could take a lot of weight as a bag holder, and very slim line to slip easily into a bag for transportation.

Wonderful gift, everyone loves it

Love it. Bought it as a present but will be getting one for myself. Heavy in hand, lovely design, great colour. Was wondering how something so slim can balance on a table but believe me - it does. It also looks absolutely fantastic. Someone said 'good design pity it's not foldable'. I say - great it isn't. I had one of the foldable ones and they were flimsy and frankly a screw 'unscrewed' and got missing. Buy buy buy - even as a small gadget for a friend.

Good gift

As to be expected from Alessi, this is a very well made piece of design. Beautifully crafted, attention to detail is second to none. Lovely packaging and an ideal gift for the cat lover I bought it for. As for its function, I don’t actually know if it works as a hook, but as a piece of decoration the recipient loved it.
