Lovely smooth needles. The DK wool glides along really well- no sticking. The best needles I have ever used. Excellent value for money and a good range of sizes of needles. The only improvement needed would be to make the sizes much clearer on the tops of the needles.

I used to knit when my kids were little and had more than enough pairs of needles, but as they got older and the knitting stopped, I donated all to a local charity shop. a few years ago I started knitting again, so that I wasn't snacking while watching tv - I had a health scare and was on a very very strict diet! More recently, I started knitting again for my baby granddaughter, and found that for my latest project, I was missing a couple of sizes of needles. It worked out cheaper to buy this set of needles so I made the purchase. Because of the very reasonable price, I wasn't expecting much by way of quality but I have been very pleasantly surprised. These are wonderful quality needles, even the smallest sizes are not as flimsy as some of their more expensive counterparts. These are metal needles with plastic toppers, with the sizes clearly marked in both mm and UK sizes. They are not really long needles but are a good length, and adequate for most knitting projects.If you know anyone who knits, or is taking up knitting and you want to buy them a gift, this set would be perfect. The needles come in a lovely canvas drawstring bag which is perfect to keep them all in one place.

It was cheaper to buy this set than to get the two needle sizes I needed.The needles are absolutely fine. They come in a really sturdy canvas bag to keep them all together.The only downside is that the sizes are just vaguely imprinted on the needle ends so you need the get them in the right light to be able to read the size. I have just written on them with a permanent pen but shouldn’t have needed to do that.

After reading some of the reviews and seeing a lot of positive reviews I thought I would give these a go. I have been knitting for 40+ years, and I have to say these are some of the best needles I have ever owned. They are very light weight, but sturdy, so very good for my arthritic hands. They are very smooth so no yarn snags, and they are of a longer length, so they are very comfortable to hold and work with. The only down side I can say is that they don't include some of the more used sizes like 3.25 or other .25 sizes, but I already have these so it is not a real issue for me. I only purchased these needles as I wanted to freshen up my needle collection. I am very happy with them and I would definitely recommend them, as I think they are perfect value for money.

Excellent value for money

Arrived in a box that would have taken several more needle packs. Sizing on needles not at all clear. Any one with sight problems will need to use a permament marker over the sizes. The tops of the needles Have rough sharp bits that need to be filed off. My wife scratched her hand getting them out of the bag they came in. admittedly they wre purchased because of the price. The lesson here is that it is not always a good idea.

Good quality accurate sizeing yarn moves well on needles ease of use
