Pack of 6 Self Heating Meals Mixed Flavours for Camping

Saw these and decided to give them a go. Arrived about a week after i ordered. Six different meals including vegetarian. You have to squeeze the contents down to bottom of the bag before adding the flameless heater and water. Heats up in about 10 - 12 minutes. Makes a lot of steam and gets very hot so need to be in a well ventilated place.Can be eaten straight from the pouch or put into a mess tin if you like. Not the best meal you'll ever have but it is tasty and does the job. Be handy to have in the car incase of breakdown or caught out in the winter snow. Definitely be getting more.

*UPDATE *These came superbly packaged and undamaged.The meals themselves are sealed in what maybe Mylar pouches and that pouch is sealed in clear plastic.I tried the All Day Breakfast.Be under no illusion,these are not going to win any awards, but the the food is great quality and there’s plenty of it per portion.The heating instructions are a little vague so I would definitely practice.I wouldn’t want my first experience using these to be in the pouring rain at dusk so definitely familiarise yourself with the directions.All that’s needed is 50 ml of water and less than 15 minutes later you’ve got a hot meal.Comes complete with a decent sized spork so each mouthful feels substantial.Clever stuff.Anybody even remotely familiar with hiking or camping will make great use of the heat pack after it’s cooled a bit.The use by date on mine is 2026. However, the meals will keep an incredible 40 months after that!Definitely an essential.

I got these for a music festival I went to this year, and they were completely worth it. Very simple to use even when tired and drunk.All the meals were very tasty even though they were all the same vibrant orange colour, dont let that put you off they are great, and miles cheaper than festival food.All in all for a survival grab bag, or just easy festival grub get yourself some of these, I will definitely be restocking for the next festival I go too.

Got to agree with a few other customers on here and they are correct. Yes the pad may heat up, but doesn't warm up hot enough to heat the food up properly.

Instructions are complex but great taste and useful for camping.

The meals were perfect for our camping trip to St Kilda where we were very limited to the amount of equipment we could take to the island. As an added bonus the meals were surprisingly really tasty and filling, just what we needed. We would certainly buy them again for camping, they are so easy to use and no washing up.

Product was really simple to use and the food was hot and very tasty. I would highly recommend this.
