This matches my kitchen perfectly and as it was recommend by the Telegraph testers, it was tested amongst all of the most expensive and some cheaper ones, the reviews were good so I brought it to try for myself, I was also very keen on the colour.The plunger goes down smoothly, which was important and there were only a tiny few coffee grounds in the mugI did put hot water in it first, thinking I always warm a teapot so why not a coffee pot, it held the heat well.It's a good size.It was easy to clean, the reduced price was an added bonus, now I need more of the matching mugs to go with it.I like the look of it so much that at the moment it's living on my hob.

I am absolutely delighted with my purchase! I’ve only, previously, ever had glass cafetières and found them a pain to clean but this is so much easier because you don’t have to take the glass jug from its casing. It also keeps coffee hotter for longer. I know Le Creuset products are expensive but I can assure you, this purchase is soooooo worth it!

It's a beautiful colour and works well, makes great coffee too and keeps it warm for a second cupBought to partner a tea pot in the same colour.It is expensive, and probably makes no better coffee than the cheap glass one it replaces, but a little bit of luxury is nice.

Nice item, good quality as you'd expect from Le Crueset.

Stylish

I mean, this is built to last a lifetime. Extremely thick and heavy stoneware with a very nice glaze, but I'd expect that for the price and the brand. I gave 4 stars purely because I can't seem to remove the filter and if it gets rusty or clogged or whatever, can't see where to buy a replacement without purchasing an entirely new full unit.

Used cheap cafetieres for a while but always had issues. Either the metal parts felt cheaply cut, they were impossible to clean or one just shattered from the hot water after a few months. Finally stumped up for a nice one and it's been amazing. It's solidly made and the ceramic material means the heat stays in the pot so it won't burn your hands or the table, plus the colour look's great and hasn't faded at all.

This looks and feels fab to use and does a great job. Beautifully designed and a pleasure to use.
