Just What i needed
Tried to start with Babble but had no idea what verbs thery were usign and WY. This book spells it out. Just what i needed to learn Italian form English since that is where I have to start. immersion is great, but not if you have no clue what they are saying. This is a good road map.

No bonus features
Italian is very good but there are no bonus features as the description states. A CD would have been nice to listen to.Update, I saw that you could add "explore to win" for audio to this. Unfortunately I was only able to login once. After that it would not send me a code to get back in. Also it does not follow the book. I was looking for something that would go right along with the book.

Great book for learning Italian
This is a great book if you are interested in learning Italian. But like the book says, it takes commitment to a consistent study schedule and completing all the lessons. I have found that Italian grammar is more complex than any of the other languages that I have studied. But this book presents everything in a clear and concise way. First, we learn the alphabet and correct pronunciations. Then, we learn about basic words and numbers. The charts in the book are very easy to follow and really helped with my comprehension. Another thing that helped was the answer keys that came along with the questions. You don’t have to go searching for the answers. Overall, I definitely recommend this book for beginners.
