Comfy for bike-packing, quick dry, but pay attention to sizing!
Context:I wore this padded cycling underwear under some black shorts on a 10-day bike-packing trip in Europe this month (Sep 2025). I cycled an average of 45km per day and between 150-500 metre of ascent. For reference, I have never bike-packed before and I've generally only commuted by bike or cycled around for leisure (flat and hills) for a few hours at a time -- and that was a few years ago, so this was the first time I'd cycled properly since then! However I do a lot of exercise, especially hiking and running marathons/ultra-marathons.Pros:Although there was still pain from the saddle, it was definitely minimised by using these padded knickers. Most days, I chose to wear some small underpants underneath these just for extra cleanliness. When I washed them (by hand in sink) they dried quickly. The quality is good and they are stretchy. They're not tight around my upper thigh/crotch area (I have larger thighs than average).Cons:Based on the reviews, I chose to buy two sizes larger than my normal size (UK 12-14, where 14 is a bit loose on me so more comfy). I just don't understand why when you click on the 'Size Chart' link, the subheading says 'UK CYCLING KNICKERS' and yet they only provide the sizing in 'U.S. size'. According to a quick internet search, UK 12-14 is a US 8-10, and based on the sellers Size Chart, I should buy a Medium. However, I'm glad I bought an XL (which would be a UK size 20-22!!). And, even then, I still had a small muffin top!Overall, I do like them and they're generally comfy despite the little muffin top, but why is the sizing so misleading?!

Great for horse riding
I used these for horse riding as I don’t have much flesh on my bum . So much more comfortable .

Helpful but sizing isn’t great.
Definitely of help in terms of comfort for longer bike rides. The sizing is terrible per other reviews. I’m normally a size 8/small and went for medium, which is tight around the thighs and a bit loose at the back. Good to have but wouldn’t buy again.

Unfortunately, not as expected in any regard.
How I wish I'd have read the reviews!I ordered these undershorts in good faith, based on the fact I have had several pairs of cycling shorts from Bayleaf previously with no problems. I ordered the same size as before but to my surprise these are very small and not at all to size. They are not as pictured but more bikini like.I attempted to return and exchange them for the next size. I was informed that this was not possible but given no reason why.Like others before me, I have wasted money and feel I shall no longer be purchasing from Bayleaf in the future, which is a shame as I have always found the other cycling shorts to my satisfaction.I do not enjoy giving bad reviews, but do feel strongly that the customer is not being dealt with fairly.

Really comfy cycling pants
I have 2 pairs of these and wear them on my static bike - they are really comfy and offer a good amount of padding with no chaffing.

The leg holes are very small!
Check your sizing carefully; these are NOT returnable! I ordered a medium, which was my recommended size, from Amazon, which is usually pretty reliable. I am a size 8- 10 and found these really small. The leg holes are tiny and very uncomfortable. As they were unusable, I tried to return them but could not, due to the return policy. I contacted Amazon, and they arranged a refund, which was great. I would be cautious about these. The quality seemed reasonable, and the padding seemed promising, but the sizing was not good.
