Great looking watch with all the features needed
A fabulous looking and functioning watch at such a great price. The mix with the analogue and digital display provides it with the benefits of both. The watch looks much better in person than the original pictures on Amazon. I was surprised to see that the hands are actually coloured gold, they shine very well against the contrasting black giving it a more expensive look. The glass does gain small scratches over time, but nothing so serious or evident. Setting the watch wasn't too difficult, following the straightforward instructions it didn't take me much to set it up. With the digital display, you get all the benefits of being able to view the date, set timers, daily or hourly alarms along with the more straightforward analogue clock. For this price and quality, this makes an excellent purchase.

3 years on...
Classic ana-digi. The ideal work watch. Light weight. Accurate. No faff at the end of the month to change the date. Battery still OK after 3 years. Water resistant enough for a swim. Looks stylish for a plastic watch.

You need good eyes for the LCD
Buttons are easy to operate. Slim design makes it unobtrusive. Easy to set the analogue hands unlike some. A good budget watch with day/date, alarm and time but no light. Date is US format only.UPDATE: I was resetting the hands at the end of BST and it froze up, I wondered if the battery had gone so I took took the back off and there is a plastic "carrier" around the mechanism with little tabs that transfer the button push to the mechanism's contact switches. The battery was OK but I had a VERY fiddly time with an eyepiece getting the plastic carrier back in between the buttons and the contact switches. The watch started working again, I think the hand set button had stuck as they often do in digi-watches so I lubricated it with some WD40 on the end of a needle. I then had a very long four letter word session trying to get the straps back on. Locating the little spring loaded bars into the holes in the case is extremely difficult because of the curved contour of the strap. I definitely put more personal time into the repair than the watch is worth but I hate to throw things out.

Great bargain watch.
I was just after a lightweight basic watch for use at work , the watch is comfy to wear and very light on the wrist , it looks great and had a whole lot more features than I required especially for the reasonable price of £20. Great watch and happy with my purchase , my only gripe is no light to read time in the dark .

A nice watch.

Feeble alarm.
I bought this to replace an older Casio which has given sterling service. This looks smarter, but for two things. The alarm gives such a feeble cheep it would never wake me up, and the alarm doesn't repeat if you miss it. The other point is the minute hand sticks up from the watchface, as though it was badly fitted. A pity, as Casio watches are great value for money.

Stylist accurate watch
Nice stylist watch at a very acceptable price. Had it for a couple of weeks and it has kept accurate time. Has an hourly "beep-beep" alarm and a single daily alarm; the alarm volume is quite low which means I can hear it but it is not intrusive if you are out in public, although some people might find it too quite. I bought this as I needed a cheap waterproof watch for when I go swimming. Have not tested it in a pool yet but my previous cheap Casio worked fine in the water so expecting the same with this one.

... brightly when the Illuminator button was pressed - very useful in the dark) that I'd had for many years ...
I bought this to replace a Casio Illuminator (with a white face that glowed brightly when the Illuminator button was pressed - very useful in the dark) that I'd had for many years and loved, but sadly Casio no longer make. It's a nice enough watch, and very reasonably priced, but Casio has made the retrograde step of dropping the illumination of the well-designed Illuminator (the only down-side of that model was that the straps went stiff and eventually brittle, so had to be replaced every couple of years) and most of their other watches now are remarkably ugly. In other respects it's similar, but there's one annoying feature - when resetting the hands between time zones, the button, which as on the Illuminator only moves the hands forwards, unlike the Illuminator when held doesn't move to a faster speed, so resetting to an hour earlier is a slow process of going forward round 11 hours.
