Took a little while to turn up but works perfectly for my 3DS-XL. Has a good battery life on it.

Battery life was better than I expected to be honest, although still not up there with the official Nintendo ones, anyway, I discovered by phoning Nintendo if you ring them they will sell you an official battery for £15 delivered which is probably your best bet

Yes the battery does work but very tight fit and will not fully charge. There is always 1 bar left on the screen and never fills up. It does seem to last several hours but the fact the bars never fill is a little irritating. The battery does not last long either. Even though it's meant to be of higher capacity than the original Nintendo one it last about half the amount of time. And my original one was about 3 years old. Not impressed and would not recommend. Try and get an original new one.

3DS XL had stopped holding charge, would charge for few seconds and then turn off. was a bit skeptical as it was a very tight fit putting this battery in, but all happy, 3ds xl back to normal and charging

Took quite a while to arrive, but when I used it to replace my 3DS XL battery, suddenly it sprang back to life!It had previously died, showing the charging light only for a few seconds, then going dead (no lights) - I thought it was useless, but this battery has rescued it for a very small cost. I'm over the moon :)

I have run the battery through two complete cycles - fully charge, play till battery blinks red.It was just under 3hrs without wifi connection and no audio (Virtual Console Pokemon)With the original 6 year old battery (1750mAh) it would last 4.5hrs till the red light.I placed this so called 2500mAh battery on the a digital scale and the weight was 30gm - where as two original nintendo 1750mAh batteries were 38gm. (This makes no sense for a larger capacity battery to wear almost a third less.My gut feeling is this is a very low capacity battery with a misleading label stuck over it.

It works as a replacement if, like me, your stock battery expanded and is no longer usable. But the battery life is pretty woeful, even compared to the already not great life of the stock battery.
