Beautiful Blendable Colours
🎨 Product Review: Winsor & Newton Promarker Skin Tones I Set 🎨When I received the Winsor & Newton Promarker Skin Tones I Set, I was immediately drawn to the beautiful array of colours included in the pack, showcasing a captivating spectrum of skin tones.Pros:The Promarkers boast beautiful and realistic colours that are easy to blend, allowing for seamless transitions between shades. This makes achieving smooth gradients and adding depth to artwork a breeze.Cons:While the colours in this set are stunning, there is a slight limitation in the range of shades available, especially for creating highly detailed and realistic portraits. It’s important to note, however, that this set is labeled as “Skin Tones I,” indicating that it is part of a series and may be intentionally limited in scope.🎨 Usage Tip: For more intricate or specialized projects, consider combining this set with additional colour packs to achieve a wider range of tones.💰 Value for Money: The Winsor & Newton Promarker Skin Tones I Set offers excellent value for its quality and blending capabilities.🔍 Final Thoughts and Rating: In conclusion, the Winsor & Newton Promarker Skin Tones I Set left a positive impression with its beautiful and blendable colours. While the range of shades is not exhaustive for highly detailed portraits, the limitations are understood within the context of it being a “Skin Tones I” pack. Considering the intended purpose and the high-quality results achievable with these markers, I would rate them 5 out of 5 stars. For artists seeking a versatile and captivating set of skin tone markers for their projects, the Winsor & Newton Promarker Skin Tones I Set is a fantastic choice.

Awesome markers
Bought these to add to my growing set of markers and to also have quality alternatives to Copic markers which are quite pricey. For 48 markers of which that 48 includes a blender marker. Variety of colours but only one or two can be used for skin tone, I think. Not bothered because I bought another set specific for skin tone.I tested/ swatched them over a semi-smooth 300gsm craft card. Colours look great and kind of match the colour description on the markers.Even on a 300gsm card, there was some bleed through. I’m not bothered about that. They are markers and most of not all will do this.Easy grip. The box can be used as sturdy storage. I strongly recommend you keep the box. It looks great and keeps the pens organised and safe. Will be taking these in hand luggage when I go on holiday abroad. I’m sure they won’t cause security issue. The box is brilliantly designed and easy to open and close. Might have to buy a separate travel bag for these. The lighter colours started off as though were dry but after a few swatches the colour came through and pen was alive with good flow of ink.Love them

Lovely markers... shame lids aren't more secure.
I bought these some time ago, but only got to try them today. Unfortunately, the very first marker I selected did not have its lid on properly, and consequently it didn't work because the ink had dried up; then checked the other pens and found another also bone dry because its lid was not secure. Both were the lids for the fine liner end of the marker, and all the other markers when I tried their lids very tightly secured. These are excellent marker pens and are exactly what I wanted, but they are not cheap, and when two of the pens do not work, it is somewhat annoying.

Good range of cool grey tones with dual thickness tips
The markers arrived in a simple cardboard box and the set comprises a range of cool grey tones, as well as a black. The markers are double ended with a bullet tip and a broader chisel tip. They lay down a consistent tone which can be darkened by going over the tone already put down.On thicker paper there is no bleed through but I would expect a noticeable amount on thinner papers. The tones can be blended but only if they are worked before drying, which they do quite quickly on non-marker paper. However on paper that is specifically designed for alcohol markers and allows them to dry at a slightly slower rate they can be blended easily.Ideal for tonal sketches or more developed drawings and also useful for creating tonal thumbnails prior to painting. The only criticism is that the black marker is not a true black but is very slightly lighter than a true black would be.

Great quality
I got these for value studies, superb gradients. I think they're alcohol as they do bleed through so be mindful all the more great value though.I used them on moleskin sketchbook and it bled right through the paper
