Lovely item, fitted well and looked good on. It is very thin and flimsy so be warmed you need thermal undies on at this time of the year.

Bought for world book day and it lasted the day working with 4 and 5 year olds. I wear a size 18-20 waist and a 24 top, this fits perfectly. It would be nice if the cape was a little longer, but it is adequate. Brilliant costume for the price and seems like it will last many more dress up days at school.

The item was true to size and delivery was fast.

I bought this Red Riding Hood costume in a size M, which is described by the seller as suitable for ladies with a dress size of approximately 14-16. I'm actually a size 12-14 and this did fit, but it wasn't massively flattering.The chest panel and blouse are designed for a small waist and small cup - I suspect this is an East Asian design scaled up badly. It's worth noting that whilst I did cram my 32G chest into this dress (mainly because I had very little time to secure an alternative outfit), it would be more comfortable for a UK 10-12 with a B cup, maybe a C cup maximum. It's not generous on top at all.The cut of the skirt is such that it flares out in a way that women with rectangular body shapes and/or shorter torsos and/or flat stomachs will find it better suited to them. The way it's cut will fit most women (assuming they buy the right size, which will be generally one size up) but it won't necessarily make them look good. The dress join is just too high up for most women and the lace up panel designed entirely for show rather than function.The hood could be bigger/longer as it's an integral part of the costume and the least noticeable part about it. Unfortunately, it is sewn in so you can't simply take it off and replace it with a more obvious red cape without a little work. Few people instantly got this was meant to be a Red Riding Hood costume and thought it was some kind of Bavarian beer wench outfit! Not exactly what I had been going for...Quality-wise, it's OK, a little on the cheap side, but for around £15, you get what you pay for. If you match this dress with a pair of boots that you already own, it's a pretty reasonable Halloween or other fancy dress costume that doesn't require lots of additional bits and pieces. It's also available via Prime, so an excellent last minute choice.

Just what I was looking for! For a fancy dress world book day I just can't complain. A perfect length for appropriateness and feeling covered. Also, thank you to everyone else's review as I am usually a size 6 - 8 (xs) however after reading reviews about it coming up small, I ordered a bigger size and went for 10 - 12 (s) which fits me a treat! I am usually a size 8 and it just about fits really so I would definetly recommend a bigger size than usual in this dress.

Good quality costume for the priceIt all comes in one piece so nothing moves and you can't lose the hoodI ordered size L having read the comments....It was way too big for me (i am between S and M). Some of my friends ordered the S which is their size and it was okay to wear, but a bit tight. So I would recommend taking 1 size above yours if you want to be confortable but not more.
