First used one of these in Thailand I have an original that cooks over charcoal but it's a lot of work to set up and clean this electric one is great, easy use and easy clean, great for 2 people, ok for 4 people, not any more

What an excellent bit of kit.Used the bbq grill/hotpot for the first time the other evening and it heats up quickly and holds the temp well (we kept the thermostat on 1 out of 3 and this was perfect). The griddle works well and with very little smoke given from the charring of food (scraps of chill and ginger from the beef marinade left on the griddle) we didn't use any sticky (honey/sweet chilli) type of marinades so cannot comment if that would effect smokiness indoors.Ideal for 2 to 4 people. I think you need would need to consider getting another for larger parties.The recipe card is in German, however I have been informed by the company that an English version will be available on their website week starting 21/12/2016.If I was to pick one issue and is in no way a big thing, is that the power cable is a little on the short side. Nothing that cannot be fixed by using an extension lead:)All in all a great product.

Used it for the first time and I am impressed!It is a bit pricey but worth it especially if you love bbq and/or hotpot! 💖Heats up quite quickly and hold the temperature well with very little smoke!Only downside I would say is that the soup area isn’t deep enough, probably just good for two people but other than that, all good! 💖

wow, this BBQ is amazing. The dome in the centre heats up well and cooks meat, fish, vegetables and anything else you can fry in a normal pan.The juices then drip into the surrounding liquid part and add to the flavour. I use miso soup mix to use as the liquid. It does need topping up as you use it as the boiling liquid does evaporate.In the soup part I put pak choi, mushrooms, beansprouts, peppers, baby sweetcorn, noodles and onions, but you can put practically anything in.Great centre piece for a dinner party, but I would say not more than 4 people due to the size.The only down side is it does produce a lot of steam while cooking and the price.

Great for outdoor summer cooking

The Thai barbecue is superb. My home is in Thailand where I've lived for 16 years & now working in Scotland for 2 years. The machine works a treat & brings back great memories of meals at Barb b q plaza in Rayong, Thailand. The only negatives would be it generates a bit of steam,and in.my case I eat too far much as its delicious!

Good size pot for both the soup base and the grilling. Efficient heating allows grilling to start within 5mins but probably best to pre heat the soup base before adding. No problems so far and although at the high end of table top BBQ hot pots, I feel it is good value as the build quality is excellent and the non-stick surface appears robust. The only slight quibble is that the power lead could have been a little longer so it runs easily to the floor to connect to an extension lead.

I used this pan for many times, now I think I can write the right review as bellows:I feel I was cheated badly by the adverts video.I found there are a lot of weaknesses of this pan when I use it. The weaknesses are:1,There is no cover, so it generates huge smoking when it is cooking. I try use a cover from my another pan, but it is not good for such shape pan, as this pan has a dome at center, the cover will directly touch the top of the dome, which may scratch the non-stick surface. If there is food on the top of the dome, the cover will directly touch the food.2, The dome is not good to hold the food, food easily slip from dome into the bottom where for cooking soup.3,The bottom where for cooking soup, has very weak heating. It is not good for cooking soup or vegetable. When I had a look at the inside of the pan, I got the reason- there is no heating wire under the place for cooking soup. Only has heating wire under the dome. You could have a look in the pictures what I took. I have to cook vegetable or soup with another pans, then put cooked vegetable or soup into this pan-the place for cooking soup to keep them warm.4,It is non-stick pan, but after cooking meat or sea food on the dome, the food is stick on the dome.It is really hard to clean the dome.5, It is very expensive pan, I think it is overpriced, a little waste money.There is one good thing for this pan. We can eat hot or warm food in winter, as this pan is on dinner table. We eat while we cooking. Not like in summer, we cook all the food, then put all food into plate, then eat. But in winter, a pan on dinner table is convenient. This is the reason why I did not return the pan and ask my money back after thinking over and over, and accept all its weeknesses.About the size of this pan, my fimily has three persons. It is ok for three of us eat together, as we do not eat too much food. But I do not think it is big enough for more than 4 people,like friends come,what I wished to use before I bought it.Wish all my experience for using this pan, could give you some reference.
