Q: Just wondering if these are BPA free?

As clearly noted all throughout the product description, these are made of silicone. Silicone is obviously NOT plastic, therefore, of course they are BPA free!

Q: I have a bagel recipe, that uses self rising flour. Would this still work?

They work great as a mold, so your bagels have a great shape. I had trouble getting my bagels off the mold when using them during the boil. I did a 14-18 retard in the refrigerator so they didn't release always as I wanted. I now use spray oil on them and remove the dough from them as soon as they come out of the refrigerator. It adds a step in the boil process, but my bagels have better shape now and I can keep track of the proofing better.

Q: Can this be used with ketogenic dough recipe?

As an avid baker, you can use the Lekue Bagel Maker( actually a shaper, not a maker ) to form your bagels. The ketogenic dough magh not have the same chewiness, but the shape is the main focus. Good luck.

395 burns my bagels. I bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes.
