HosaTech CRA-202DJ 2m Dual RCA to Same with Ground Wire Stereo Interconnect Cable

This Hosa phono lead was bought for my lesser hi-fi system which features a Sansui SR-222 turntable from 1976. For the price I wasn't expecting anything special, and whilst it is a budget cable I feel it is a good one. The cable itself appears to be high quality and the cable connectors feature rugged mouldings. The right angled ones for termination at the turntable are also a nice feature.Sound quality is absolutely fine and there is no degradation in sound quality that I can notice. However, as another reviewer has pointed out, where this cable lets itself down is in the shortness of the integrated ground wire which is the same length as the much chunkier phono cable. This really does put strain on the ground wire and it is stretched quite tautly at both ends in my setup, despite my efforts to ease the tension it experiences by making efforts to reposition the phono cable. I can understand why Hosa have produced the cable this way as making the ground wire longer means having to cut the phono cable length shorter, thus wasting valuable cable. I do feel however that they should address this issue and perhaps provide a few centimetres of additional ground wire length at each end and simply charge a bit extra for this otherwise nice product.I still feel that at approximately £6 (as of May 2016 ) this cable is something of a bargain.

These are just what I needed to connect my decks to my Traktor S4 mixer. A very lovely rubbery feel means they don't tangle easily and the length is ideal for anyone needs extra length for larger mixers (or if you have CDJs) as part of a 4 deck set up.The leases fit in my flight cases while still connected to my decks (due to the design) meaning that don't need to unplug from the turntables. Most people don't anyway but with other designs this takes toll and can cause problems over time but with the L shape connections this isn't a problem. If you want a hassle free, quility RCA for your decks Then you have found them.

Excellent product, much better then 10x more expensive cables, reduces hum caused by preamp phone stage.Rca connectors could be better but you can always change them yourself just for a more audiophile look.Very happy with the product.
