Flower Crowns Craft Kit - Create 4 Hair Accessories

This worked well as an activity for my daughter and six friends for her birthday party at home. Right amount of time i.e. whole activity about 20mins which is the attention span at a party I think! Also good to give them an activity they get something to take home rather than figuring out a load of party bag items too!There are five pots in the set so I had to buy two sets for the seven of them, shame really as there was plenty of wax and colours for all seven so I only really needed a couple of little pots.It is pretty soft, even if you keep it in the fridge! for that reason my daughter has not really actually used the balm, she has reverted back to the more solid sticks or pots instead of using her own homemade one.Plenty of stickers to design the pots, but do that before fingers or pots get near the wax as everything gets a bit greasy and does not stick.

Bought this set for my daughter’s birthday party craft activity. It’s OK if you buy it on sale (paid just over £3), but think I would’ve been disappointed had I paid the full price for what it is (although better for the planet that the butterfly bits are made of thin cardboard).

My daughter who is 6 loved this product. She's always making "potions" so was thrilled with this. The pros of the product would be that is has a good quantity of base lip balm and 5 containers. I was a little disappointed that there were no separate flavours and colours. Each colour comes with its own smell and there are three of those. If you mix the colours you may not like the resulting smell. The spatula it comes with doesn't seem to be as good as a little spoon for emptying contents. Also stirring and holding the bowl still, whilst balancing it in another bowl of warm water takes some dexterity -and she needed an extra hand from an adult. Overall the product was useable and she had fun making it.

Daughters friends loved making these at her party and got to take them home. Perfect for an activity.

To be honest I was disappointed. The glue provided to stick things on is terrible and some of the bits to attach on to hair bands have fallen apart I ended up seeing things back together and trying to see bits on to hair bands to create what my daughter wanted. I wouldn’t buy this again

My 9 year old used it as an activity at her birthday party. It was fun and well received. The quality if fine but the main thing was that it was easy to use and the girls liked it.

This set can be used to create some pretty flower crowns, and once you’ve got the crown band and leaf garland sized right and attached to each other it’s easy for a young child (mine were 6 and 9) to decorate themselves. But, it’s not as well made as I’d like. One pair of buds each came off two of the crowns and a couple of the flower heads fell off of their wire stalks. Plus, there aren’t really enough flowers to decorate 4 crowns.

Colours are good but in very small quantity
