Super good chocolate spread. It tastes of hazelnuts and chocolate. It’s quite thick consistency. However the jar is not that big.

This is just what I was looking for dark chocolate and nut with limited sugar and likely to buy again.However…….please note. The jar lid was loose …I barely had to turn it. Also would suggest glass jars wrapped in corrugated or similar brown wrapping…. Remembering that these items do not necessarily come in boxes from Amazon . This came as it was in a brown envelope type package? Hence 4 stars.Looking at buying more of your selection but would like them well packed.

Simply amazing vegan alternative! Not overly sweet, and perfect balance. Amazing. The only thing is that it disappears very quickly….

I am writing this review purely because I've read the other baffling- review comparing this organic spread to Nutella and complaining that it contains sugar and sunflower oil. It is a chocolate hazelnut spread, it will be sweetened with sugar and it will contain oil. Substituting olive oil for sunflower oil as suggested by the reviewer is plainly ridiculous. The taste would not be palatable and other healthier oils like coconut would obviously alter the taste and consistency of the spread (coconut oil having such a low melting point and well, coconut taste) Why have I bought this? It is vegan, it has no palm oil, no air miles racked up during it's production and it is a sweet, chocolatey, hazelnuty treat to enjoy spread on my wholemeal sourdough toast, or oatcakes, rice cakes, whatever I fancy. It is not comparable to non- vegan Nutella. I'm literally sick of non vegans comparing vegan products to their non vegan counterparts and finding them wanting. I am amazed and delighted by the huge choice of readily available vegan foods on sale today. In 1984 when I first became vegan there was so little choice, it was only sold in health food stores snd the cost was prohibitive.If you are avoiding sugar and sunflower oil, why on earth would you buy this at all? Whip up your own concoction with olive oil and agave and see how tasty that is.5 stars for this Mr Organic spread.

Over the years, I reduced sugar intake and gave been through a fair few "sugar free", "dairy free", etc marketed chocolate spreads. Some more sugary than the original. This one tasts like good quality dark chocolate in spreadable form, which is amazing. So I'll buy again when this one is done 👍
