Fantastic value cooler
Decided to build up a budget PC to sell using old overclocked i7 2600K (4.4Ghz). To test the build I'd been using an Arctic freezer LP I had lying around. CPU was spiking at 90C+ just running Fortnite - totally inadequate! But with a budget focus build in mind I wanted something that would keep temps under control, maintain a discrete black aesthetic but also not cost the earth. This ID cooling fan fit the bill with black top and fan! It's able to keep CPU temp in low 60Cs when fully loaded with Prime95 and in the 50Cs in games. The item I received had all the mounting hardware and I found the fitting instructions clear. I think there should also have been some thermal grease included but there wasn't any. No matter, prefer to use Arctic silver anyway.

Much better than stock AMD Cooler
Got this for my pc as my ryzen 5 5600 was getting quite warm at times with the stock cooler and sometimes hitting 80c - 90c gaming and averaging around 60 - 70c while just idle or web browsing. Only had this for a week but results so far have been impressive with it not going over 60c once even while playing games for long sessions ( Only death stranding & Witcher 3 so far ) and at idle and web browsing it hangs around the 40 - 50c mark. It was also super easy to install following a video from ID on their YouTube page. Cannot comment how loud it is as I use headphones while gaming but it appears to be pretty quiet when I have had a quick listen. Brilliant for the price and I'm very happy so far.

Great Air Cooler, cheap in price but not quality.
Having had to buy a new Air Cooler for my Fathers PC due to the AIO leaking I stumbled across this cooler on Amazon.Reading the reviews I decided to purchase due to overwhelmingly good feedback and decent price. This is a very easy to install air cooler, and kept the PC under load at a nice 38-50 degrees Celsius. (Average was below 30 for normal use)Can’t complain at all about the product, works a charm.Highly recommend.

Superior Cooling
The media could not be loaded. For the money this CPU cooler is incredible. Thermally as good as Noctua. Slightly more noise than Noctua at full speed, but it keeps the CPU cool.I use an AMD 5700x, using the Wraith Prisum Cooler that would get to 70 Celsius under heavy workload or heavy gaming. This ID cooler keeps temps @ 50 Celsius under heavy workload or heavy gaming. It does come with its own thermal paste that you need to apply, I opted for one by Arctic that I have much experience with. I'm sure the thermal paste supplied would do the job fine.Amazon great price, but seriously a underpriced product for it's thermal abilities.

poor cooling performance
The cooling performance with this item is awful, I do not know if I potentially have a faulty one with a bowed base but I am getting 55c idle temps and 95c load temps on an AMD 8600g, I get better temps with the stock supplied coolerI read such good reviews about this cooler even handling high wattage CPUs and keeping idle temps down in the 35c range with load temps at max 75cI have been building computers for over 25 years, this is used in a Cosmos 2 case with huge amounts of airflow, I tried remounting it using the red AM4 standoffs it came with in case there was a pressure issue with the AM5 ones, I also tried with the paste supplied as well as Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut and Arctic Cooling mx-6, neither of which made a discernible differenceI contacted ID Cooling directly to ask if this was temps I should be expecting and their response was simply"Yes,it is normal. Thanks for your email."So I won't ever buy an ID Cooling product again and I will be returning this as it is simply not fit for purpose

Great
It's actually really good for the price, I had got this as a temporary cooler and it worked great would have kept using it if I didn't upgrade my PC and went with aio

Probably the best cheap tower cooler out there
This little beast can keep cool anything up to a 5800X with very little compromises, but it should be used with a smaller CPU ideally. It's doing a really good job with the Ryzen 7 5700X I bought for a budget build, even allowing me to add some reasonable overclocking combined with undervolting. It includes a spare set of clips to add a second fan (not included) which is a nice touch.
