Q: Can you connect a garden hose to this? I live in a flat so no outside tap was thinking i could tap into the bathroom pipe.

Yes, what you have asked is exactly the same situation I was in. It's a standard washing machine sized connection that a hose adaptor fits ... mine works perfectly and has had no leaks or issues.

Absolutely not! The cutter is not long enough. Assuming you are using the correct size pipe for the tap. Usually they are 15mm taps and pipes.You often get a tiny drip during the process, but this stops as soon as you are through.Make sure the clamping part is done up tightly and then screw in the self cutting part and tighten up the locking nut.I have done dozens and never had a problem!

Q: Will this work on a 22mm pipe?

Probably. There's plenty of thread on the screws and the bits that hold onto the pipe are just V shaped, so I expect that it would fit. There are 22mm specific ones which might be worth considering, they are about £10-12 on eBay, so probably the same on Amazon.

Q: Can i use this for an outside tap connected to a powerwasher please?

I used mine to hose my bike down . Although... it has a smaller inlet for water as it has bored into a 15mm pipe so it has half the amount of water coming through. I never had a problem with the hose. The pressure washer may need a more abundant amount of water to run smoothly. But I never had a pressure drop in the hose whilst using it .
