Easy and effective
The pizza stone was broken on delivery (the oven was well packed but not the stone inside!) but it was replaced without fuss within a few days. I love this oven, the first few pizzas will be trial and error, but once you get to know what temperature works best for your BBQ and style of pizza, it cooks perfectly.

Great pizzas
This is a portable pizza oven brilliant on the BBQ at home or when camping a nice change to BBQ sausages/burgers!It heats up easily and the stone base makes crispy nicely cooked pizza. About 15 mins to warm up and allow 10 mins per pizza. for a good crisp base.We do all our home made pizza in this now rather than the normal oven.Good value compared to the fixed ones i looked at.

Serious fun
Good looking and easy to use. Cooks a fantastic pizza (even pre-bought ready made ones) with a crispy bottom. The temperature dial makes use very simple indeed.

It’s great. Worked like a dream on shop bought pizza. Would have thought we had ordered them in. It was so easy to cook with

Good but temperature gauge is questionable
Nice bit of kit. The design and build quality are spot on, looks and feels smart and well made.Really easy to use, although my rubbish bbq had trouble sustaining a constant heat.I'm not too sure about their temperature gauge though. Wanting to know what they considering "ideal" I used two thermometers to check. The high end of ideal came out on both at 240. Italian style pizza would ideally be cooked at 500c, thicker American style 400c. So why is that ideal? Am I missing something? So I ignoring their ideal, i put some logs onto the charcoal and got the box very hot indeed (the gauge maxed out) and made some pretty good neopolitan style pizzas! I've no idea how hot I got it as my thermometer only goes to 300c.

Does what it says on the (Fire)box...
Spotted this in local garden centre but held off buying it until I'd read some reviews. Ordered it anyway (not a lot of reviews on the web!) and it arrived quickly (ordered 30th, arrived 1st Nov) and set it up today on my gas BBQ. Followed instructions and first pizza took about 10-12 minutes to cook and not "in a matter of minutes" as stated on La Hacienda's webpage. Figured a lot of heat was escaping out the front so using a flat baking sheet closed off the front. This certainly helped in getting better results. Made three ~12" size thin crust pizzas and a peynirli in the end and after the initial pizza these turned out really quite good. So it does seem to do what it says on the box...I also suspect quite a lot of the heat from the gas burners is escaping up the sides of the Firebox - the Firebox sits snugly front and back with no gaps but there is about a two inch gap either side. I may try finding a way to close this off to ensure all the heat from the BBQ is actually directed into the Firebox.

Very disappointed.
So disappointed. 1st time we have used the oven since we bought as a Christmas present for my husband. I don’t understand the other reviews. Even with the temperature in the ‘Hot’ setting the base doesn’t really crisp. The radiant heat from above takes an age to melt the toppings. We have had far superior results just using a thicker pizza stone and shutting the hood of the BBQ.WASTE OF MONEY. Better off to buy a good quality pizza stone.
