This cup holder is secure and looks nice on my gaming set up. Lots of people have criticized that the tongs holding the cup in place are plastic rather than metal but, to me, plastic is a good thing. There's almost no way this holder will scratch up my nice mugs and thermoses when sliding in and out of the plastic tongs -which might not be the case for metal. For a great price, you get a well made cup holder that functions as advertised and fits almost any drinking vessel you might have. Thumbs up!

It is good for many different sized cups/bottles. Definitely helps me keep from the accidental spill onto my laptop.

This works perfectly and attaches to my vertically oriented bedframe. It's also able to hold a large water bottle too, a massive plus. Very handy and flexible.Installation was slightly fraught as the holes for the screws that secure the holder to the mount are difficult to enter. So it took quite a bit of effort to put the screws in. I believe it to be secure though.Seems to be very good value so far.

My son needed a drink holder for his elevated bed at college. this worker well as it could be mounted in a few different ways. Seems to be strong enough. NO complaints out of him.

I bought one of these and liked it so well that I bought another. I use them on a small mobile desk I have. Sadly the second one didn't hold up very long. It broke within a couple months of buying it. The unit is solid except for the little arms that move to hold your cup in place. They are very thin and rather fragile. I gently bumped one of them while trying to set my plastic cup into the holder and it snapped off. For the cost I would have expected them to be more durable. I really like the design but would not buy another because of how fragile the little arms are. Thanks.

Worked well and is strong and well made

I have it hooked up to my gaming desk, and i have a HydroJug Traveler, and it works perfect. very very sturdy, and easy to slide my tumbler in and out. no metal on metal contact, but everything is extremely solid.

Finding a desk clamp cup holder for large bottles and a 2”+ desk is like hunting for a unicorn. So, when I stumbled upon this one, I thought I struck gold. Spoiler alert: it was more like fool's gold.First impressions? A cheap plastic cup holder clinging to a flimsy metal clamp with 4 microscopic screws. The clamp is so thin and delicate, it bends under pressure faster than my resolve at a dessert buffet. I clamped it down to feel secure, but it was about as reliable as a toddler's promise.The plastic cup holder itself could use a serious redesign. Trying to fit larger bottles into it feels like forcing a square peg into a round hole. Given its bargain-bin materials, I'm betting it will snap sooner rather than later.
