This plane flies great and it’s TOUGH. much more resilient than comparable other RC FOAMIES..

The eratix is a great plane. Highly recommend. My only complaint is the aileron servo doesn't always go full deflection. It stops just short of it. It's only noticed when doing snap rolls. It doesn't affect anything else. It could just be a faulty servo. So at some point I'll probably change that out. Other than that, it has more than enough power for 3D, it has enough rudder throw to do a knife edge loop, it hovers like a dream, it'll hold a harrier very easily. And it can be slowed down real nicely. I used a 600mah 3s and though I like the floatiness, I think it would really come alive with a 850. Battery life is as expected. 4-5 minutes of 3D, about 7 minutes of pattern flying. It flies so well in fact that unless you are doing something stupid, it’s not possible to crash the plane. Very intuitive, very predictable. As for people complaining about spektrum pushing their products. They have great products. Servos are sometimes less to be desired. You don’t have to use a spektrum battery. Just solder on a new lead or use an adapter. It’s like 3 minutes worth of work to change it from an ic2 to ec2 or xt30 or whatever you want to use. People forget how easy it is to modify in this hobby. Just modify it for your needs. Build yourself a stick and tissue plane and convert it to rc. You will very quickly understand that in this hobby, it’s about problem solving. Part of this hobby is flying, part of it is crashing, part of it is repair and modification.

Nice model. Looks to be fragile, maybe easily repaired. I don't appreciate being forced into a manufacturer's extraneous equipment and this company pushes the matter.

batteries are Spektrum specific along with chargers etc. I don't appreciate being forced to use the same technology with a special adapter a battery is a battery.

I absolutely adore this plane. It flies excellent, looks awesome and is easy to repair. Extremely 3d but very forgiving. I’m only giving 3 stars however because of the proprietary nature of the battery. I hate having to buy new fancy batteries and chargers for this one little plane.
