I use this stuff rather than bottled milk as it suits my lifestyle & I can make up as much or as little as I likeI chose this brand as the protein content seems to be rather higher than in standard skimmed milk powdersI like the taste & it makes good yogurtonly drawback being that I think it needs mixing (in a jug) before being added to hot drinks: I generally make it up, a litre at a time, & keep it in the fridge. Like all milk, it should be covered to protect it from taint from cheese, fish n meat etc

"Chef's Larder Skimmed Milk Powder With Non Fat Milk" is misleading.As the packaging states, actually is skimmed milk powder with NON MILK FAT. So this is NOT non-fat milk!Overall i'd say the quality is average, not as good as some high street brands but it's not terrible. Definitely one for the cook's cupboard.

My partner cannot tolerate coconut in any form, and it wasn't until I checked all the ingredients on the pack that it became apparent it contains a very high percentage of coconut oil. Bloody good job I checked before using it in her coffee.

This isn't skimmed milk. And should not be advertised as such. There is sugar in it for one thing, and if doing a diet or gone sugar free, defeats the object of the diet. A pain to mix too, okay for emergency milk, and that's about it.
