Put the Coins in. Take the Coins Out. Repeat Ad Infinitum
This type of toy has been around in various guises for decades and I recall getting something similar for my children when they were small. Now, my wife and I have repeated this for our third grandchild. At just 1 year old she has now started to find putting things into a box and emptying it again the best thing ever and will spend ages doing it. So, we bought this to help coordination and learning. It's typically Fisher-Price plastic stuff. Well enough made, colourful and weirdly engaging. The basic idea is to feed large plastic coins into the pig and get them out again which at one my granddaughter finds a challenge because she hasn't got the motor skills yet to orientate the discs. However, she tries and of course the option to dump them in the main hatch is entirely possible and used.As she tries she learns and that's the point. At some future moment she will work out how to properly get the coins in and that will be another breakthrough moment in her development and put a smile on an old grandfathers face. It's all good. So, reasonably priced and I guess you could say a learning tool.Oh, the nose when pressed makes the pig oink and sing. This for some reason makes my granddaughter laugh and that's worth the world.
