Great tool to walk on frozen roads and terrain.
They do they work for the use I need. Not tested in snowy terrains.

Ice grips
These grips work really well, you feel safe walking over ice in them

Definitely worth the money
I had bought various types of snow chain/grips for my Salomon Quest 4 GTX boots, for my trip to the Franz Josef Glacier in New Zealand. The first three had long springs on the base. Whilst this was quite effective on snow, but offered no grip on the blue ice glacier. In fact they slid across the ice. These ones took a couple of minutes to fit, but once on, they performed really well on the ice, with no slipping.For £19.00, these could save your life

Ice Grips
I was told by a friend that these grips would be ok in the mud, well, sadly they are not! Initially when the mud wasn't too slippery they worked OK, then it got very muddy (I needed them for use down a horse yard), and they just kept coming off. So really no good for my needs.Good sturdy grips and made well though. Bring on the ice us what I say😂
