InvictaGrand Diver 3050 Men's Automatic Watch - 47 mm

The media could not be loaded. I do like an automatic watch and Invicta has now become a brand I really appreciate. This is now my 2nd watch from them and it is fantastic. I originally got one of the smaller divers style watches, but i wanted something in gold and this was a bit more special and struck a good balance with the silver and gold.The watch bracelet is made from stainless steel. The outward facing steel is brushed steel, but the edges are polished, and the gold is also polished. Any polished surfaces have a beautiful mirror shine. The clasp is a fold and lock style clasp, which after closing is very secure. The size can be adjusted by quick release pins at the clasp, or by removing links. My wrists are not small and i removed 3 links then adjusted for summer and winter (hot and cold) at the clasp.This is a heavy heavy watch. It is bigger and the clasp links are all solid metal, along with the larger case. It does take some getting used to.The face is a beautiful silver with an effect that catches the light and reaches out from the centre. The pics really don't do it justice. The numerals have glow in the dark dots that work reasonably well. They are also clearly shaped to indicate 12, 6, 9, or other. The magnifying window is never placed on squarely and this is no different but it is still easily read.The bezel is nowhere near as good as the smaller models. It's difficult to grip and turn. The notches are small and smooth. Wet hands will not work with this. There is also a small amount of free play compared to the smaller models. It is easily read though and gives a satisfying click as it turns.The movement uses a NH35A. This is a very common movement and easy to swap out down the line if need be. It is also known for being reliable. This is no different. Over the course of a week, mine went fast a minute or 2. But otherwise kept good time. The movement swings smoothly and of course self winds by being worn easily. Even when sat at a desk i have not had the watch stop on me.Looks. It's stunning. It is a big watch and looks fantastic. If you do have gold rings it goes very well with it. Also if you have big arms it will compliment them.This is rated for 300m and has a screw down bezel. I haven't dived that far but pool and bath use so far has been absolutely fine with no issues.Excellent watch, excellent value. Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed. Looks great ,surprised that it runs fast as I have 2 other invicta watches that are very accurate all 3 are automatic

Invicta can be a bit hit and miss, vis a vis quality control. There are imperfections with this watch, but you have to look for them. Otherwise it is built like a tank with a good Japanese movement and looks good on the wrist. Know what you are buying and you won't be disappointed. This is my second grand diver and they are a pretty decent automatic watch for the money.

I have owned Omega , Seiko Grand & Rolex all very expensive solid watches .. I decided to try something very different and ordered a Invicta Grand Diver 3050 I was a bit wary at first but ordered one it arrived quickly in 3 days . It's a heavy solid watch and worth the £99 I paid for it. Time will tell if the automatic seiko internals last, but for now I am impressed.. You don't see many in England so 👍 from me for now.

Tough bezel and for my wrist size, it's too much watchm good nh35 and sealed well for practical purposes

Really nice heavy watch for the price, had mine a few month now and it's my most worn watch from my collection and not the most expensive one either. No issues at all, keeps great time, can't remember even having to correct it. Great value

Very impressive watch, chunky, solid and a real eye catcher. Has the look and feel of a much more expensive timepiece. I chose this from reading previous reviews and I'm glad I did.
