I purchased one set of these some weeks ago and was sufficiently pleased that I purchased a further set to be sent to my daughter. I would have been even more pleased if instead of a collection of garish colours, they were sold in one colour - perhaps a navy or black, or even the bright red. The various primary school colours offends my decorative taste. I had previously looked at these a number of times, was put off by the colours, but finally decided to try them out. They are stored out of sight when not in use! Sizing - just being a small household of two, I use small size frying pans at the same time for a number of meals/prep (frying eggs/softening chopped onions/bite size pieces of chicken etc and for me, two of the 10"/25cm size would be more useful than the very smallest size which I have never used. Without thinking when I first used one of the lids I did almost burn my hand when lifting an edge to check contents of the pan and boiling hot steam rushed out. Now use tongs to lift an edge! All in all, very pleased, the price was acceptable, very good suction, easy to clean & take up little storage space.

Enough sizes for all your pots and pans, easy to use and clean. Excellent excellent.Put up little stick-on hooks inside the cupboard’s doors for these lids; they are just there, handy, and neatly tucked away.Buy them now ! You will be saying: why did I struggle like a cave person before these lids :)

Average, they work as covers to avoid using cling film on storage etc. The suction is excellent because the surface is perfectly smooth and shiny. they stay sealed for a long time.But overall this set is not as good as I'd hoped, although it is great value for money at £13:Cleaning: I thought I could dish wash these in the plate rack but can't, they're too soft and flop over. They come out wet because drips gather in the ridges on the top - I assume the idea behind the ridges was for strengthening, but they just make them awkward to clean.Colour: The colours are tasteless, they look super tacky. One beautiful colour would be better than multiple dominant colours.Size: the one size I need most is half way between 15 and 20cm. I might buy another set of smaller sizes - a set ranging from huge to tiny in large increments isn't that useful.I like the small cup cover, shame there's only one.I'll treat this set as a trial so I know what I need to buy next time. *If* this set had multiples of medium (20cm) and small (10cm) sizes all in one colour it would be a total winner, e.g.:1x30cm1x25cm4x20cm2x15cm4x10cmNote: the set has ONE of each size, I'm just saying I'd like a set with this denomination.

I purchased these for cold food storage. I've read some reviews about them not working well with hot pans. I'm not certain what the benefit would be over using a pan lid as both require washing after use therefore my intended usage was with cold foods. I have tried others that simply don't adhere to any of our round dishes and containers and have been returned. These are pretty good and a sealed vacuum seems possible with most of our containers. I was also hoping to seal the larger yoghurt pots which the smaller size does reasonably well but it does come adrift overnight in the fridge. There are more expensive suction lids available which adhere to everything but these are considerably more expensive. This set is pretty good with a smooth glossy easy to clean contact surface and for 90% of the time, produce a perfectly good suction seal across cereal bowls, pyrex dishes and various round shaped containers protecting cold foods well.

They work as described, They are useful to have in the kitchen.

You just put it over the thing you want covered, and it covers it nicely! I got mine to fit over square bowls, and all good. I was concerned that it might be a struggle to remove the lid once the content had cooled, resulting in lower pressure within, but it slides off easily with no mess.

I already own some of these useful covers, saving the planet from cling film. I like them enough to give some to others as gifts, always well received. Highly recommend.
