Mytee HP60 Spyder Heated Carpet Extractor

Now two others or so, may have problems. For me the unit broke a hole in the shipping box. Otherwise fine, have checked out unit,and to this point happy with the machine. Will update as I use the unit.Ok. Now for an update. I have had unit for few weeks and have had the chance to use it and see how it performs, also to test the customer service from seller.First the not so good, which is only three things. The water supply host on the carpet tool is some what flimsy and kinks,I disconnect the vac line to reach some smaller areas then reconnect to continue. Simple fix, I wnet to car store and purchased some brake line, placed proper size fittings on and works great, no more kinks.Next. The unit I purchased was displayed with a drying kit, which I did not recieve and it is my understanding does not come with vac anymore, However, after contacting seller, A drying kit was sent out, priority shipping, NO CHARGE.Thirdly. Unit was listed as a three stage vac, when infact is a two stage, another call was made, and seller is looking in to options.Now on to the best part. My seller was SPARKLE AUTO. The rep I talked to is Vic Freeman. I will say with out a doubt this is one one the finest companys to buy from. My question where answered in a very timely fashion by email, I fact Vic took the time to call, just to be sure all was ok, and to discuss concerns in person in place of emails. Between Ebay and Amazon, Craiglist. NEVER has a company rep called ME over a few questions, And I have made many purchases inline.I am a even more so satisfied customer with MyTee, If Sparkle is a showing of the dealer network they have.Oh and YES the vac WORKS GREAT. Simple straight forword. Works just like described. If I was needing more , this would be the company I would use and SPARKLE AUTO is WHO I would get it from, HANDS DOWN none better.

The media could not be loaded. What an upgrade from my bissell one gallon extractor. Great for car detailing ! Its 4 gallons cuts my time in half and is heated. Amazing! The only thing is it didn’t come with the little handles to hang the hose 😞

I have had one of these for a number of years, and it still works great. Awesome heat and suction.

This is the biggest pile of garbage I ever wasted money on. First of all it came in one of the buttons had been knocked out and broken in shipping. Plugged it up, pump wouldn't work. Had to take it apart and realized the wires to the heater came loose. The wire are just cheap crimp connectors that plug into one another. It is a power hog, trips breaker unless nothing else at al is on that circuit. The hose is very bulky, clunky and heavy. It's not very flexible and it is difficult to use on vehicle interiors because it's so bulky. You have these huge brass fittings for the fluid hose that get really hot you have to wrap them in a neoprene sleeve that won't stay in place. Less than a month into owning it, having used it only a few times, the hose began to break in multiple places. Even before it broke, it loses suction because of all the fittings. the hand tool with the acrylic top was cracked when it came in, they replaced it. I didn't know until after I ordered it that they no longer come with the hose keeper/holder. To me the suction isn't really that strong, the carpet is a lot more wet than I expected. I've used similar machines that did a far better job. I do not like the opening on the hand tool, instead being an open slot, it has a plastic piece on it that only has a few holes for water to be sucked back through, to me it just restricts flow. I'd rather have a solid open end. Also, the spray nozzle on the hand tool just shoots water everywhere. The spray pattern is too wide. Everything about two to three inches past the side of the tool still gets soaked. The easy drain is convenient, but it can accidentally get opened, the hose caught it the other day and dumped dirty water all over my shoes! It should have a latch or something but it doesn't, it just lifts open freely. Overall, this thing is cheaply made it absolutely kills my hands to use it for even a short period of time and it's so awkward to use it makes me not even want to use it. The handle/wand should be much smaller, lighter and easier to use than this big bulky mess. It's like they put 0 thought into building it. I don't know why it needs such a large diameter hose to spray liquid with and they could have used a different style vacuum hose as well. It needs a different way to connect because the huge connectors are right close to the end of the wand making the whole thing heavy, bulky and difficult to work with. 0 stars

I don't own this extractor but I do own another product from Mytee(the M-12). I have to say thier is less then average. Cross your fingers nothing goes wrong with your product because their service is crappy. They will not give you a new one if the product is defective out of the box. They have so many excuses why (like they don't have anymore in stock). B.S.!!!! Mine broke twice already within 30 days and I have to drive the damn unit 2 hours away to have it ship back mytee to be repaired. They try to blame me for not know how to use the extractor. That made me even more mad. Wait a week and lose many jobs and money. Mytee, get your act together!!!! By the way, my M-12 cost me almost 3k :(

I have ordered 3 Mytee products and each is poorly made. Two of them have last less then 12 months. Buy name brand producys and avoid MYTEE!!
