If you want a super high pressure shower head, make sure you check the box for "2.5 GPM" before adding to your cart.When I opened the big amazon box and inside was a box much smaller than expected I was underwhelmed. Yet, the box also felt very heavy for size which was a great first sign. Looks and feels old school, which in my opinion is a good thing. Solid and well made, nothing frilly - just straight power, which is what we were looking for. Reminds me of a basic hotel shower head -- the really strong ones. We wanted something like the power you get in a hotel and it delivered! We seriously questioned whether it would work due to our house's low water presser. When we turned it the first time, we just couldn't believe it and laughed because of how strong it was (FYI, it's much noisier than any of our other shower heads). If you've seen the Seinfeld episode, you'll understand the visual. Installation was very easy. Only used for 2 months so can't comment on durability. Chrome looks nice. For reviews that say the dial doesn't do much, the dial on the side doesn't seem to make a drastic change from a noticeable high-pressure to a softer rain, but rather it seems to me to be a subtler widening or narrowing of a nice high power spray.If you're on the fence about whether a high pressure shower head will really make any difference, or which one to get, just put this Hammerhead in your cart.

I took down a handheld showerhead with a filter. I swear, the more you add to something, the more things break.I read the reviews of this showerhead and was hoping for the best. First, the packaging is great. It came with everything you need except the wrench. How many times have you forgotten the pipe tape? Not to worry, it's included. The shower head came in a little drawstring bag to keep it from getting scratches. It's heavy and metal. Haven't seen something this well made in a long time.It took me 5 minutes to install and that's only because the old tape was really into the threads. Once cleaned and retaped, the shower head screwed right on. I hand tightened it and then finished with the wrench (not included). I turned it on and no leaks. The water pressure was good and just a twist of the lever, and it goes from a nice heavy stream to a gentler rainwater stream.My husband will be thrilled when he comes home from work and there's no leaky showerhead. Probably happier that he didn't have to fix it.For the price, it's a great value. No cheap plastic here.

I installed the shower head the day it came in. I took a shower and I really liked it. The next moring my wife came out of bathroom and said I am going to have to send the new shower head back. I said really, I liked it. She was joking and Then she said "It is so nice that now she doesn't want to get out of the shower"Great product. I even ordered another one for my cabin.

Even though this is a low-flow shower head, it puts out a nice dense spray of water. It has three settings but I have only kept it on the middle setting. My husband installed this in about 5 minutes with most of the time taken to remove the old shower head. This fit perfectly on a Price-Pfister stem and he only used a bit of plumbers tape to make sure the seal was good.

Had one a long time ago from Ace Hardware and a seal in the middle started to leak. Replaced it with something else and years later it failed. Found the this one in Amazon bought it, removed the screen and the flow limiter and woohoo! Somebody else said it, so I can't take credit, but with the limiter removed "you will get your Karamer on".

Good product for the price. It supposed to be made of stainless steel and it feels like it. Was easy to install but upon using it, water leaks from the ball joint. Not a big issue, since its leaking into the tub. The water pressure is fantastic! Much better than the previous shower head.

We love this shower head! It arrived quickly. The price was good. You get what you pay for is how we look at it after living for over 6 decades. Lessons learned. It was super easy to install. The flow from this shower head is totally awesome! We are going to enjoy this for a very long time. Highly recommend!
