Works
Bought these to secure a gazebo. We have thick clay soil with stones, roots and bricks. Tapped the point in and used the drill attachment. All 4 screws went in all the way. Rock solid and the gazebo is not going anywhere unless we have a tornado!!

The best
The best ground anchors ever, they screw very easily into the ground and hold a lot of weight.

Good for tents
Bought to tether a touring caravan for winter. Screwed into ground and promptly pulled out by hand. Only useful for holding very light weight items.

Anchor points for car cover
I have our MX5 parked on chippings in front of the property and the car over would constantly blow partially off. I installed these with a drill and tied the cover securing straps to these and not had an issue since. They are very strong and I did keep hitting rocks and they did not break and just had to reposition until they went fully in.I would buy again if ever needed.

Spot on for high winds
Used to anchor down a pergola in the recent high winds. Easy to use with the drill attachment . Good lenght to give plenty of security in the ground.

Forget screwing it into the ground. I had to treat it like a nail and hammer it in.
The spiral blades do not screw into the ground because they are not a small enough angle to the central shaft. Turn them with a spanner or socket and all that happens is the device just breaks up the ground. It has no element of being pulled into the ground like a screw thread. This is yet another example of Chinese rubbish that should not be bought.
