Great stuff, easy to use
I had one small problem but I believe it’s because of the Covid 19, our delivery came in two parcels. Apart from that, everything about this stuff is great! My husband found it very easy to put up. He needed a good strong staple gun with larger staples and that was it! I believe this will help greatly with insulation. We have put it into an unused cellar so time will tell, but I can’t see how it wouldn’t help. It’s great value for money also.

Great for winterising your inflatable hot tub
I read loads of articles about not using a laz y spa hot tub through winter. In fact, I recently took my tub down for winter storage. I then got to thinking, if you run the heater and pump, the circulating water should never freeze or get to a temperature low enough to cause an issue. The problem is, ambient temperatures go low and the heater has to work a lot harder (and longer) to maintain the correct temperature for comfortable use. So, I decided to buy a roll of this insulation to see if I could winterise the tub.First off, this is very easy material to cut to size, but strong enough to be semi rigid. I used a double thickness to insulate around the side walls of the tub. Aluminium foil tape 75mm wide, joined it all together in a big ring, easy then to slip over the sides of the tub when not using it, also easy to roll up out of the way when you do! I joined more pieces together and formed two circles, one to float on the surface of the water, the other one to tuck into the lid of the tub between the inflatable insert and the outer material. I even made a slip over cover for the heater/pump unit as this insulation is very easy to work with. Mindful of leaving an opening where the vents are. A big roll at 1.2 x 25m, plenty to go round (excuse the pun). The heater now works far more efficiently, water temperatures are stable for a lot longer so the heater, which is thermostatically controlled, doesn’t kick in to use anywhere near as often as it did without the insulation. I covered the whole thing with a large circular patio table weatherproof cover, leaving it all neat and tidy. A very versatile product indeed, easily cut using just kitchen scissors to any shape you require, waterproof, lightweight, keeping things nice and warm. I have no hesitation in recommending this product. Excellent value too!

My loft looks like a spaceship
Sorting out the loft insulation in my 1930's semi was well overdue. Decided to go with the warm loft approach as the loft was mostly boarded and full of junk. Used a combination of 100mm thick foil backed insulation board and 100mm thick insulation roll from a popular DIY chain. This was then covered by the Yuzet insulating bubble wrap foil to seal up any leaks and hold in the other insulation which was all push fitted into the eaves. Very easy to cut to size with scissors, Get a decent staple gun, i have used hundreds to hold the foil in place. Air does not seem to rush up into the loft when i open the hatch now. Insulation is the most cost effective way of saving on heating bills. Hoping it will also keep out the heat in the summer.

Super easy DIY with great performance!
My home office backs onto an uninsulated garage, so has a very cold wall. In turn, this ensures the room has a chill to it. In the summer, this combined with the north facing aspect of the room ensures a lovely cool working temperature. Unfortunately, between the months of October and March, it is more or less unusable. Until now.....The Yuzet thermal roll was stapled into my plasterboard and run in lengths the width of the room. This took literally minutes. Honestly, there was no skill involved in this bit. I didn’t really want a silver wall, so I elected to fix some acoustic tiles over the top, using double sided sticky tape. I now have a very modern looking acoustic wall that was fixed up in less than half a day. And the room is now useable all year round!! Even my daughter has decided to use my office whilst she is furloughed. And she feels the cold more than I do. If you’re unsure about this product, take it from me; you won’t get better results without significantly higher spending. Recommended.

Lightweight/ easily cut with a stanley knife or scissors.
Used to insulate under side of roof beams in loft area. Easy to handle whwn you cut the lengths required off the roll before fixing. The aluminium tape is very thin but does the sealing job well between lengths. All in all a cost effective solution to reduce heat loss that virtually any able bodied person can apply.
